Maybe you misunderstood. I don't think I wrote that v51 is needed to have 2d multitasking, in fact I wrote that I don't even know why and how I find it now.
I just wanted to warn the other user that I now have the feature, period.
I don't know what you are referring to and what you wanted to call me back on with "these changes have nothing to do with upgrading to v51".
Sorry, my fault - should be referred to the post before yura.khaltin .
But it's good to find the new features now, even with v50, correct?

imagine it was just a misunderstanding. yes, I really like the 2d multitasking that I was looking forward to (and I envied you because you've had it before me🤣) because I couldn't wait to do some things. I just notice a little jitter when launching a 2d app during a 3d app but nothing that detracts from the enjoyment. now that I have all the functions declared on the v50 release notes I must say that I feel more satisfied. I confirm the good functioning of the direct touch, the presence of the hands instead of the arms and the fluidity in the transition between the controller and the hands.
now I really hope that other functions (which we read about online in relation to the advent of v50) such as live captioning and above all the multi-room guardian are things that are being worked on and that we will be able to see soon. - yura.khaltin3 years agoHonored Guest
I didn't say 2d multitasking was received with v51 update. I don't really know. But it concided. I already had direct touch feature when my Quest 2 was on v50. But multitasking didn't work. I checked it almost every day. And it worked the day my Quest updated to v51. Some people said that multitasking didn't appear for them even on v51. So that's not connected ofc.
