PTC v54 Release Megathread

It was a new update, the actual version looks like some flavor of version 53. but yes been waiting for it all day, got it tonight. 

version shows 50000390053400320

 

It seems to pick up my hand controllers a little quicker, but I could be just crazy. I played golf + and the sound was terrible, everything else was good. I quit the app, played walkabout mini golf and the sound was good, so I went back into golf + and the sound was good as well. The wifi 6e thing still is a bother but i wont put too much of a gripe. Getting a new router delivered on Sunday and will test it fully as I cant tell if the problem is my current Asus router or the quest pro being new to wifi 6e. Will post an update on Sunday after i fully test. On regular wifi 6 I have had 0 disconnects, but I was chasing 6e. Probably just retarded(me)

    I have got an available software update and my controllers are now really quick to be detected and correctly tracked (2s) which is nice. 
    Didn’t got much time to test in depth but Beat Saber and Red Matter 2 are working without any issue (and I am happy that cloud save game works with RM2 as I did a headset reset a few weeks ago).

      So you got v54 PTC?

      Edit;  I just got an update for my QPro but it only seems to be a controllers update since it still shows the same v53 and OS versions.  I cannot see that there are any noticeable differences so far.

        I think what you got is the stable version, public release of version 53. If you use the mobile app, connect to your headset and see what version the headset is running. Mine is now version shows 50000390053400320 which updated both the headset and then the controllers. I notice quicker response from my controllers, i am sure there are other bug fixes but just expect more stability from your version 53. Version 54 has not rolled out yet, despite the above post.
