Woooo! The VR community is excited!
I've been playing around with this trying to connect my kid's oculus quest 2 to work with his Roblox game that he wanted the oculus for because hes been wanting to play in vr ever since he saw a vr game 4 years ago that looked very fun to him. So we bought the Oculus Quest 2 so he could play it. Little did he know, when getting this piece of garbage, he couldn't just open the oculus app store and search up roblox and download it there. No, he cried super hard because thats all he wanted it for, and me being the mom i am, googled, and googled, and searched and watched hundreds of youtube videos. All the videos brought me to either success making my son very happy until until finding out it crashed after turning it around and showing him, or, it would bring me to the "graphics card not compatible" screen that would make me switch back and forth between my husbands work computer until it shows me the same screen, and switching back to my computer, i read it further, and see another row of words that says "COMPUTER HARDWARE DOES NOT FIT THE STANDARDS OF RIFT" So i found out it thought i was on rift. I had no idea how to switch it to quest 2. Me, my son, and my husband got very frustrated and thought about giving it away. But i thought i would look into it more before giving it away, so now i looked on this forums page and found this... I screamed in joy, now knowing i wont have to deal with it anymore and i showed it to my son and he screamed so hard i couldn't hear for 30 minutes, which i still cant hear while typing this. I am very happy I do not have to work my ass off trying to find solutions. Thank you so much for letting my family know this.
Whaha 13 years and up. Roblox is a app mostly used by 6 to 13 🙂 Strange limit for a kids fantasy playworld.
Every smart kid adds/created its account with a 20+ year date nowadays 🤣

11FreezeMan Well, It was really your family's fault for not doing research about the system you need and the hardware you also needed for it. Glad that he will be able to play again very soon. Let him search ROBLOX in the search bar than scroll down to "App Lab" and let him download it there when it releases soon.
