The purpose of the ptc is to break controller tracking so bad it makes the device unusable? Are you okay in the head?
I am OK in the head, because, unlike you, I'm not on PTC. 😉 You'll just have to wait until they fix it, which along with other reported bugs might take a little while. You make your bed, you lie in it, don't blame others for your decisions. If you can't handle having your headset as a guinea pig, don't join PTC and then cry about it when things inevitably go wrong.

I was on PTC in the first place because controllers are also completely unusable in v85 but you clearly know better

Yes I think most of people being on PTC with the Quest Pro are just waiting (for years) to finally get their controller to work without having the tracking drift happening... But every version (PTC or not) is just increasing or decreasing the probability of having this issue, I have never got a reliable pro controllers tracking...
I still find these controllers awesome because they are self tracked and are occlusion proof, but sometimes, the PTC is obviously released without any pre test on the Quest Pro, because you just have to use the headset for more than five minutes to experiment the tracking drift.- liamreed11 days agoExplorer
It would literally take 5 minutes of testing to see the controller tracking is broken, and they have pushed broken controller firmware every other update its insane

If your controllers weren't working on the official v85 then there's something wrong with your hardware.

They worked just fine in 2.1 PTC
