Trimesh floor, walls, and some assets gone for one person
Okay I have a weird one. I'm editing a world with 6 other people. The floor, walls, and a few items are gone for just me. I spawn in and fall. I can see them move around freely. I think it's a local issue because they published it, and I have the problem there. However when I switch to an alt it's fine. It's just my main character. I can't seem to clear local cash for worlds, and I can't seem to uninstall worlds to reinstall it...
Certain Assets not Spawning
The script is working fine when i summon other assets but for some reason when i try to spawn my lightsaber like weapon it says “error, couldnt spawn asset because it contains unauthorized content” I read something like Meta will automatically unpublish your world or flag your account if you use trademarked material so i tried switching the name and still nothing, i can pull the asset directly out of my library into worlds but i cant spawn it as an asset, very confusing. Im on a primitive world too if that mattersUnable to access quests & rewards in mobile app
Hi there, Since this morning, i have been unable to access the Quests & Rewards option in the Meta Horizon mobile application. When accessed through the button with the 3 lines in the main screen and then clicking the according Quests & Rewards button i receive the error: "Error: Relay: Unexpected response payload - check server logs for details Relay: Unexpected response payload - check server logs for details" I have been unable to rectify this error. So far i have tried on different networks, 5g mobile network, cleared cache, cleared data, restarted phone, tried on 2nd phone (same meta account), uninstalled and reinstalled the app but all to no avail. Has anyone else encountered this issue and has anyone been able to get in? I was told in Horizon central there is another way to get in from your profile, however my app doesnt seem show the same content there as other users seem to have. So there is no alternative way for me to access Quests & Rewards that i know of. Any help would be appreciated. RegardsGen AI is cut off from the server and can't create scripts anymore?!
One of my biggest pet peeves in life is when something that should work, doesn't. And the fact that we were give Gen AI in Worlds Desktop Editor to "assist creators" and then the Gen AI (btw, goes by the name Orion for some strange reason but if that's what it says its name is, it is what it is *shrugs*) suddenly tells you that it's been cut off from "the server" and can no longer generate anything is very disappointing. So now I'm stuck and unable to finish a very complex VR experience that I've been working on for months is absolutely ridiculous and quite frankly downright flawed tech from a corporation that should have their you know what together. Here's the conversation in a nutshell that has me PO'ed beyond imagination: Orion: I will start by modifying the script. Orion: It seems there was an issue modifying the script. I'll try a different approach to add the timeout feature for players who leave the blackjack area. Orion: I will now attempt to generate the updated script. Orion: It seems like there's a persistent issue with modifying the main blackjack script directly. I'll try a more robust, separated approach to avoid this problem. Orion: <response> I am so sorry, but it appears there is a fundamental issue with the scripting system on my end that is preventing me from creating or modifying any scripts for you right now, even simple ones. I have tried several different methods, and they are all failing with the same server error. Orion: This is a problem with my tools, not your request. I apologize for this frustrating experience. Orion: Until this is resolved, I cannot fulfill requests that require creating or changing scripts. I can still help with other tasks like finding assets or providing instructions for things you can build manually. I figure I go to one of my other worlds a try to get assistance with an entirely different script project, a low and behold, no problems getting to the server. So why the heck is this so called server issue only a problem with one particular world?! That means the problem is purposefully selective. Now my conspiracy thinking is wondering if it was cut off from helping me for a reason? Stay tuned creators, the problem is supposedly being investigated, but I have a funny feeling I'm not gonna like the reasons and that this problem is going to be permanent. I'll keep you all posted.
Black screen when entering any world
Hello, I am experiencing a serious issue with Horizon Worlds that started today. This morning, when I opened the Horizon Worlds mobile app, I received a message saying that my session had expired and I needed to log in again. After re-logging in successfully, I started encountering the following problem. When I try to enter any world, the loading process starts normally, but right when the world should appear, the screen turns completely black. This issue happens on all platforms I have tested including the mobile app, the web version, and the desktop editor preview. The problem occurs with every world I try to enter, including public worlds. The UI appears to load, but the actual scene never renders. Because this issue happens across multiple devices and platforms, it does not appear to be a local device, browser, or network issue. The problem started immediately after the forced session expiration and re-login, so I suspect it may be related to account or session state on the server side. I have already submitted a report through the Report a Problem feature and wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced this issue or if there are any known workarounds. Thank you.
