Issue With Horizon World Becoming Permanently Members-Only
Hello, I’m a new Horizon Worlds creator and I’m having an issue with one of my worlds unexpectedly becoming permanently “Members Only.” The world was originally published normally and I was actively building and pricing commerce items inside it. I was also able to invite people to the world successfully. For several days, the toggle that controls whether the world is publicly searchable appeared grayed out and unavailable. Today, I was adjusting visibility settings and briefly saw the toggle become available. I enabled public/searchable visibility, but when I attempted to publish again, the world suddenly switched itself to “Members Only.” The interface now says the world is hidden and can never be published again. I did not intentionally convert the world into a permanently hidden members-only world, and I’m trying to understand: whether this behavior was intentional, whether the world can be restored to a publishable/public state, and whether this may have been caused by a bug or incorrect setting transition. I was able to clone the world, but unfortunately all commerce item pricing/linkage data was lost in the process, which represents a large amount of work. I also want to mention that I previously received several automated item restrictions on clothing items, but almost all appeals were approved successfully. I do not know whether those events are related to the world visibility issue. Could someone please clarify: Why the searchable/public toggle was unavailable for several days, Why the world switched to Members Only unexpectedly, Whether the original world can be restored to a normal publishable state, And whether commerce linkage/pricing data can be recovered or transferred. Thank you for your help.Raven.Monroe15 days agoMHCP Member0likes1CommentHow to Repurpose Your Own Instagram Promotional Content for Meta Horizon Worlds Creator Portfolio
A workflow challenge I keep running into as a Horizon Worlds creator is that when I want to use my own Instagram promotional content inside my creator portfolio or world assets, Instagram provides no built in way to retrieve previously published photos or videos in original quality. Many creators build their visual presence on Instagram first and then want to bring that same content into their Horizon Worlds creator profile or use it as reference material for world building. I have been using snapinstaink as a browser based solution that retrieves original quality files from public Instagram post URLs with no installation required. Has anyone else dealt with this cross platform content management challenge as a Horizon Worlds creator and found efficient ways to maintain a consistent visual identity across Instagram and Meta Horizon.limorentaluae21 days agoHonored Guest0likes0CommentsCustom Model Import "permission error: AlwaysDenyRule"👮♂️🚔
Hi, I am using Meta Horizon Worlds Desktop Editor and trying to import a custom FBX model through Asset Library > My Assets > Add New > 3D Model. The import fails before the asset is created with this validator error: EntSocialVRVersionedAssetCreationView EntSocialVRVersionedAssetExperimentalPermissionPolicy::AlwaysDenyRule ImplicitPrivacyPolicyBase:DenyIfSubPolicyDeniesRule ComparatorPermissionPolicy The editor AI says this looks like permission issue, not an FBX issue.WorldCubes23 days agoMHCP Member0likes2CommentsVideoPlayer entity in Horizon Worlds
Is there a way to have a plane in desktop editor to act as a videoplayer to play with URL or local video when another entity is triggered? I've searched hi and low, asked Ai, tried different script codes but no joy yet.andybailie1 month agoMHCP Member0likes5CommentsCan't import Mixamo Animations
I start the desktop editor as an administrator. It's rigged correctly. I have the FBX2Anim file in a Bin folder. It was working a few months ago but I haven't tried it in a while. Is anyone aware of any changes in the animations import method?TeacherDanny1 month agoMHCP Member0likes1CommentAI Gen on Desktop Editor
There has been a continual failure for AI Model generation for almost a week now. Every time I go to create a model, everything is fine up until I go to save the model, then get a persistent error message - 'Did not find a material to be used with texture baked_BR.png' I remember this happening a while back as well. Anyone have any idea when this will be fixed?TheRealMadCat2 months agoMHCP Partner0likes4Comments
