Feature Request: Silent Private Lock for Chats & Status - Invisible to Other Users
Summary: Add a "Private Lock Mode" that hides both chats and status updates from selected contacts until I unlock with fingerprint/password/PIN. The locked contact gets zero indication that they've been locked. Current Problem: 1.WhatsApp's "Chat Lock" only hides chats, not status updates from that contact. 2. If I mute or archive someone to avoid seeing their content, it changes how I interact with them, but doesn't give true privacy. 3. There’s no way to completely hide a contact’s activity from my view without them knowing I’ve restricted them. Proposed Solution: "Silent Private Lock"When I enable this lock on a contact Feature Behavior After Locking Chats New messages arrive silently. Chat is hidden from main list. Visible only after unlocking the vault. Status Their status updates won’t appear in my Status tab until I unlock Notifications No message preview, no sound, no icon. Completely silent Other Person's View 100% normal. They see ticks, last seen, etc. as usual. No clue they've been locked Why This Matters: 1.True personal privacy: Sometimes we need a digital boundary without confrontation. This lets users manage their mental space. 2.No social friction: Unlike blocking, the other person’s experience is untouched. No "why did you block me?" drama. 3.Unified control: Right now privacy is scattered - chat lock, mute, archive. This combines it into one clean toggle. Example Use Case:I lock a work contact after hours. Their messages + status updates are hidden until morning when I unlock. They still see me online and messages delivered, so there’s no miscommunication. Privacy Note: This is for my device/view only. It doesn’t read, scan, or alter the sender’s data. Is this updated in real time? Or does it take a while to update? My sales are showing as 0(zero) on the dashboard I've been making and publishing avatar items and sold some clothing items to a user that requested some to be made I know they have bought some items because I've sent them wear the items. Sudden Removal from Meta Horizon Creator Program – Request for Clarity
I recently received notice that I’ve been removed from the Meta Horizon Creator Program due to not meeting eligibility criteria. I respect that programs like this have standards, but the decision was communicated without any specific explanation. As a dedicated creator working within Meta Horizon Worlds, I take my work seriously and put significant time and effort into building original VR assets and experiences. My approach has always been focused on quality over quantity. I handcraft my work and prioritize thoughtful design, which naturally takes more time than rapid content production. Because of this, I’ve been building toward larger, more ambitious projects—including creating spaces intended for more mature audiences to socialize comfortably. At this time, my only published world—BigBadLejin Vault—is nearing completion. A lot of care and effort has gone into it, and it represents the level of quality I aim to bring to future projects as well. It’s also an up-and-coming experience, and the users who have discovered it have shown strong appreciation for the level of detail and effort put into it, expressing interest in seeing more of my future work. There are many additional ideas and experiences I have not yet had the opportunity to complete, which makes this removal particularly difficult to understand. Could someone from the team help clarify: What specific criteria I did not meet? Whether this decision was based on engagement metrics, activity level, or policy concerns? If the pace of content production or other measurable factors played a role? Whether there is a path to reapply or improve standing in the future? I’m fully open to feedback and improving my work, but without clear guidance, it’s difficult to move forward constructively. I believe more transparency in these decisions would benefit not only myself, but many creators who are committed to producing high-quality experiences on the platform. Is that normal???
HELP! i have been creating clothing since December and was well over the 100.00 threshold mark and am now at 1K$$. Meta has not paide me yet for sold clothing. I clicked on support link and i recieved a message via a legitimate looking email suposedly from a "Brock" that requested social security number and 5 months worth of bank statements in order to get paid. Is this normal? In thr beginning of the discussion i did give up my bank account and routing number (supposedly for them to verify) but none of the other requested info. is THIS NORMAL? What is meta VR AI up to lately?
Is there currently project or team focusing on connecting speech to prompt, in world 3D object animated or interactive gen? I'm talking about mobile and VR in world generations... Think of .... Um... Instant of the meta AI, chat gpt grok style of desktop generating video .. why not a world, a mobile or VR world that you can easily gen 3object that you will be able to held or ride??? im sure someone said it before. I know there must tons of challenges, but isn't that an untapped path? Inside a that world/app, someone speak, "hello, meta. Hello; I have followed documentation and have toggled a leaderboard to show up in the mobile menu, but it doesn't seem to show up; I do have values on the leaderboard. I installed a music player (MQG Music Player) on my world a couple of days ago, everything seemed fine in both preview and on my headset. But now I can't hear any of the music, even in preview mode. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled, and still nothing. I thought maybe it was the music player UI, but when I bring in a "Meta Sound" that isn't connected to the UI, I still don't hear anything. The sound of the Avatar "jumping" and landing still sounds, so I know noise is coming through... Anyone have any suggestions for me to try? I don't HAVE to have the music, so no big deal if it can't be fixed. DE keeps loading in old scripts that have been deleted multiple times. Scripts that were deleted months ago. What could possibly be the reason these "phantom scripts" keep loading in? I delete them in the scripts folder, empty the recycle bin and then when I load the world, the scripts reappear, causing errors in the console. When I go to delete them, I get a confirmation dialogue saying the option cannot be undone, but here we are, the script deletions being "undone". Why is my editor unable to find module 'horizon/avatar_ai_agent'
Hello, I can't figure out why I have the error : [NPCSManager] (2, 121:146) Cannot find module 'horizon/avatar_ai_agent' or its corresponding type declarations.
