Payout setup blocked — W-8BEN for U.S. LLC owned by non-U.S. individual (disregarded entity)
Hi everyone, I've been stuck for several weeks trying to complete the tax information step of my payout setup, and I'd really appreciate help from a moderator or anyone who has been through this My situation: I am a non-U.S. individual (tax resident of Venezuela) I own a U.S. single-member LLC (Serva Collective LLC) with an EIN Under IRS rules, my LLC is classified as a disregarded entity because the sole owner (me) is a non-U.S. person My payout account is held by the LLC, with a Wise USD bank account under the LLC's name Th correct tax form for my case (per IRS rules): A W-8BEN in my personal name as the beneficial owner. Not a W-9 (I'm not a U.S. person) and not a W-8BEN-E (my LLC is a U.S. entity, not foreign). The IRS instructions explicitly state: "If you are a single-member LLC that is disregarded as an entity separate from its owner, the W-9 should be completed by the owner. If the owner is foreign, use Form W-8BEN." The problem: When I go to the Payout Hub and start the tax info flow, after I answer "No" to "Are you a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or other U.S. resident alien?", the system blocks me with: "Based on your answers, we're unable to determine the tax form we need from you." I've also submitted a correctly completed W-8BEN by email multiple times (PDF, hand-signed, dated, Foreign TIN included, all fields complete). Each time it gets rejected with templated responses, sometimes asking for a W-9 instead — which would be incorrect under IRS rules since I'm not a U.S. person. Why I can't simply register as "Outside US": Venezuela's banking restrictions don't allow individuals to receive USD directly, which is exactly why I formed a U.S. LLC and opened a Wise USD account under it. This is a standard, legitimate setup used by many international creators in my situation. Registering as "Outside US" with Venezuela would block me from receiving payouts entirely. What I'm asking for: Could a moderator or someone from the Meta team please help escalate this case to a specialist familiar with W-8BEN forms for U.S. LLCs owned by foreign individuals (disregarded entities)? This setup is common among international creators, and there must be a way to process it correctly. I've been through 30+ email exchanges with payout support, each agent giving inconsistent answers (some asking for W-9, some accepting the W-8BEN issue but not resolving it, some offering to create a new account without specifying how to configure it). I'm happy to provide my case reference numbers and any supporting documentation (LLC Certificate of Formation, EIN letter, video of the system blocking me) by DM. My account is permanently disables
This is my 2nd time got disabled, I didn’t know why. I didn’t do anything to get it permanently disabled, its very frustrating and annoying. Hi, My feed is extremely glitchy especially on instagram. I'm unable to see posts from people I follow, instead I can only see ads, and/or posts from celebrities, influencers, or organizations. Im wondering if its just my instagram account that is glitchy or if anyone else is facing the same issue. Thank you, P.S. Feature Request: Silent Private Lock for Chats & Status - Invisible to Other Users
Summary: Add a "Private Lock Mode" that hides both chats and status updates from selected contacts until I unlock with fingerprint/password/PIN. The locked contact gets zero indication that they've been locked. Current Problem: 1.WhatsApp's "Chat Lock" only hides chats, not status updates from that contact. 2. If I mute or archive someone to avoid seeing their content, it changes how I interact with them, but doesn't give true privacy. 3. There’s no way to completely hide a contact’s activity from my view without them knowing I’ve restricted them. Proposed Solution: "Silent Private Lock"When I enable this lock on a contact Feature Behavior After Locking Chats New messages arrive silently. Chat is hidden from main list. Visible only after unlocking the vault. Status Their status updates won’t appear in my Status tab until I unlock Notifications No message preview, no sound, no icon. Completely silent Other Person's View 100% normal. They see ticks, last seen, etc. as usual. No clue they've been locked Why This Matters: 1.True personal privacy: Sometimes we need a digital boundary without confrontation. This lets users manage their mental space. 2.No social friction: Unlike blocking, the other person’s experience is untouched. No "why did you block me?" drama. 3.Unified control: Right now privacy is scattered - chat lock, mute, archive. This combines it into one clean toggle. Example Use Case:I lock a work contact after hours. Their messages + status updates are hidden until morning when I unlock. They still see me online and messages delivered, so there’s no miscommunication. Privacy Note: This is for my device/view only. It doesn’t read, scan, or alter the sender’s data. I start the desktop editor as an administrator. It's rigged correctly. I have the FBX2Anim file in a Bin folder. It was working a few months ago but I haven't tried it in a while. Is this updated in real time? Or does it take a while to update? My sales are showing as 0(zero) on the dashboard I've been making and publishing avatar items and sold some clothing items to a user that requested some to be made I know they have bought some items because I've sent them wear the items. Good morning, I hope someone can help I am in a disperate situation for the past 5 months the payout for my 2 facebook pages as been kept on hold. Despite submitting my identity verification documents multiple times—such as my ID card and PayPal statement and taking the selfie repeatedly via the app—my payouts are still on hold. It’s especially puzzling because this same PayPal account is used for ad payments. I have talked with 20-30 people from support but not solution to my issue and last weekend to top it up they have also limited my earnings on my pages. So far Meta owns me almost $8k.
