Horizon Feed being replaced by Navigator starting in v85
In v85, we’re starting the process to sunset Horizon Feed in VR and shift users to our new UI called Navigator to improve the overall user journey and make exploration in VR more seamless. Navigator lets users quickly access their experiences, friends, and settings, all in one place, for a more streamlined interface. This shift will be starting tomorrow with a small set of test users, and we will be slowly ramping up testing until releasing to all users later this year. What the sunsetting of the VR Horizon Feed means for your worlds: The VR Horizon feed is not a high-intent surface, in that it drives visibility but does not drive as much time spent as other surfaces. With the shift to Navigator, you may see a drop in your top-funnel impressions, but users coming from other worlds discovery surfaces may be more inclined to spend time in a world that matches their preferences. Our past guidance on driving discovery still holds and we recommend reviewing best practices here. Thank you!MisterOsiris1 month agoCommunity Manager2likes0CommentsAccount Security and 2FA Reminder
Hi Creators, To help protect your account and the security of confidential MHCP information, please take the following actions immediately: Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on Your Meta Account Securing your Meta account is just as important as securing your Discord. Here’s how to enable 2FA for your Meta account: Go to Meta Account Center and log in. Click on Password and Security. Select Two-factor authentication. Choose your preferred method (Authentication app, SMS, or Recovery codes) and follow the instructions. If your Meta account is linked to Facebook or Instagram, you may need to enable 2FA on those accounts as well for full protection. For more details, see the official Meta 2FA Help Article or your account’s security settings. Stay Vigilant Against Phishing Phishing is a common tactic used by attackers to steal your login credentials or personal information. Here’s how to protect yourself: Never click on suspicious links in DMs, emails, or Discord messages—even if they appear to come from someone you know or have friended. Double-check sender information before responding to requests for personal info or account details. Be wary of urgent or alarming messages that pressure you to act quickly or provide sensitive information. If in doubt, verify by contacting the sender through a separate, official channel. If you receive a suspicious message or believe your Meta (Horizon) account may have been compromised, report it immediately. Read more about what to do in the event your Meta account has been compromised. Why is this important? A compromised account can put your personal information, your worlds, and sensitive MHCP program details at risk. 2FA adds an extra layer of security, making it much harder for attackers to gain access, even if they have your password. Thank you for helping keep you and our community safe!MisterOsiris1 month agoCommunity Manager0likes0CommentsMeta Horizon v250 Release Notes

Hi creators, we're excited to continue to offer creators the chance to showcase their incredible work! Themed Clothing Collections Since launching Themed Collections, we showcased 500+ clothing items from creators. For January, our spotlight themes are Love Link and Pajama Party. Items submitted (that fit these themes) by 01/05/2025 will be considered for a potential feature in any Meta Horizon promotions or recommendations. Love Link: Encourage users to celebrate Valentine's Day with romantic or polished outfits, or season-inspired trendy streetwear. For casual looks, suggest coquette styles for women and sporty vibes for men. Prioritize premium, highly detailed, and unique textures, including customized graphics and fabric details. Pajama Party: Emphasize a cozy, playful theme with expressive pajama styles. Use plush fabrics, fun original prints, and clear texture for a realistic, touchable feel. Focus on clarity and personality for oversized hoodies, quirky onesies, and slippers. Items should be cute, comfy, and collectible. How to Participate Create clothing based on one or both of these themes by 01/05/2026. Save Clothing with one of the hashtags in the description section when you create a new or edit an existing item listing: #lovelink #valentine or #pajamaparty The item must be opted in to be available ‘Outside your worlds’. Originality, high quality, and relevance to the theme are essential for all clothing.orderforsha2 months agoMeta Employee2likes0Comments🌟Supercharge the Reach of Your Digital Items with Item Links—Now Available for All Items!

This year, we’ve been busy making Horizon even better for you (see everything we’ve launched this quarter). And as we wrap up 2025, we’re delighted to share a new improvement that puts even more power in your hands: item listing links are now available for all digital items. What’s New? You might remember when we introduced item listing links for avatar items— URLS that can be shared to your community to guide them straight to your creations, making sharing online a breeze. Now, we’re excited to let you know that you can create item listing links for: All in-world purchase items Avatar items as quest rewards Gentle reminder: Avatar items as quest rewards are currently available to Partners who meet the eligibility criteria. If you’re curious, you can find more details in the documentation. How Do Item Links Work? Item links are designed to be shared anywhere— any social media, chat, or wherever you connect with your community. On desktop, they’ll see a prompt to install the app on mobile. Ready to Share? To find your item links and learn more about how to use them, visit our documentation. Thank you for sharing your creativity with the world. We’re here to support you every step of the way—cheering you on as you grow, connect, and inspire.
