Incorrect Time Zone Setting on Meta Smart Glasses in Kazakhstan
Dear [Support Team/Meta Team], I am experiencing an issue with the time zone configuration on Meta smart glasses in Kazakhstan. When I ask the device, “Hey Meta, what time is it?”, it responds with 13:00, while the actual local time is 12:00. This indicates that the device is using UTC+6, but the correct time zone for my location should be UTC+5. Kazakh is spoken by 20 million people, and enabling this language would significantly enhance accessibility and user experience for a large community. This feature would make Meta products more inclusive and appealing to users in Kazakhstan and other regions where Kazakh is widely used. Since Kazakh language is already supported in Meta AI on WhatsApp, I believe it would be relatively easy to integrate it into Meta AI for Meta Ray-Ban glasses as well. Wayfarers. Won’t force restart. Followed many videos. Does not do any of the LEDS it’s supposed to.
Yes. They are charged to 100. In the app before “forget device” from Bluetooth list as I wanted to reconnect them. Charging case plugged and unplugged type c cables 3-5 times quickly to reset. Glasses. The common turn it of hold the shutter and turn on trick that works every other time does not. Matter of fact no leds flash. Only time now that it flashes ANY color is a white light while it’s inside the glasses and only while holding the shutter button. Blinking white light. Glasses inside the case. Lid open. Holding shutter button. I’ve watched many videos. Nothing has worked. I stopped using them 3 days ago. Yesterday I pulled them back out. Didn’t work. Thought maybe they didn’t charge. Nope. Not the issue. No lights on glasses. When I dock back into glass case for charge steady orange light comes on. Then disappears after 10 seconds or so. No other light comes on. please help.
Microphones not working on Oakley Vanguards
Hi all, this is only my second time using my Vanguards and the microphone isn’t working so I can’t use the ‘Hey Meta’ function. I've done absolutely everything that is asked. Unpair. Restarts. Toggle off. Toggle on. Nothing has worked. Does anyone have any advice?
Found Meta Glasses
I found a pair of Meta glasses at the beginning of the year, and I would like to find the owner. I'm just not sure how at this point. I've tried contacting support and the automated chat said it'd send the info I have to the support team. But is there any other way someone might know of to find the owner information with the glasses? im a tour guide, so i mostly have people out of state/country on my tours so posting on local forum could be a dead end. I am in a location where a lot of locals visit, the spot they were makes be believe it was someone who took my tour but I contacted all of them and no one said they forgot anything. I just really want to find the owner
Meta Ray Bans Suggestion
Suggestion: I have a hard time reading textbooks, and recently I have been using Meta AI to read a page to me (which is helping me a lot), however, it would be cool to have a dedicated way to have Meta AI read the book out loud without having to cover a previous page for it to capture the next page.
Oakley Vanguard - IP67
The Oakley Vanguard sunglasses are rated IP67. The IP67 standard states that an object with this rating can remain submerged in water at a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes. Therefore, I deduce that the Oakley Vanguard sunglasses can remain underwater at a maximum depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes... meaning they are suitable for kitesurfing, and even if they remain submerged for a few seconds at a depth of 30 centimeters during a fall, there will be no problem. Can someone confirm this? Thanks in advance.
