meta quest developer hub issue
First of all, I think I might have posted this in the wrong category… apologies in advance. Best regards, I’m new to this forum and to the community. I want to take my first steps in dev, experiment a bit, and see how far one can get being creative with the features that devices offer. Along the way, I started setting up the Meta Quest Developer Hub. Everything went fine, but I have a question. I switched the Link version to Public Test. My device is now set to Public Test, but I still haven’t received OS v81. My question is: does switching the Link version to Public Test not actually push the device to update its version? I assume it doesn’t and that it just changes the communication channel, but I’d like to confirm to be sure. Another question: is there a way to manually push v81 through ADB?How to move developer account to different country?
I recently moved countries, so I need to move my account to the new country. I have spoken to Meta about this and they say I can't move my account to the new country. As an alternative I suggested I could set up an account in the new country and then move the apps to the new company. Sadly they said it isn't possible to move apps between companies. Has anybody else been in this situation? What did you do?
Notes App
Hello Meta Devs, I want to suggest a new Application to be made for the upcoming Ray-Ban Meta Glasses, it could help a lot of busy people at work or while being mobile by driving cars, E-Scooters and etc. or very busy people in business. My idea is a "Notes App" which would be speech to text conversion meaning by talking the App would save the spoken text in a text file called "Notes - example." It could be started simply with a voice command to the Meta assistent like "Hey Meta make a note for me". Personally I am a forgettable person so usually I forget a thing or two by doing some kind of work so I have to write my self a notice on paper every time not to forget things. That said, having that App installed on a wearable like Ray-Ban Glasses would help making my life easier. What do you think about my idea? With kind regards. -Selmir_VR
Problem with implementation of XRInputSourcesChangeEvent on Quest browser
Hi, I'm working on the development of a WebXR application and I've recently noticed an issue when the input controllers are temporarily lost and "reconnected". The reconnection triggers a XRInputSourcesChangeEvent event with an "added" property listing XRInputSource objects associated to each controller that is reconnected. These XRInputSource objects are supposed to have a gamepad property but it seems that this property is not set correctly (it's null) when a controller is reconnected. The problem doesn't occur the first time the controllers are detected after the initialization of the XRSession. The problem isn't reproduced on a different browser (wolvic). Environment: - Headset: Meta Quest 3 - Version: 64.0.0 Expected behavior: XRInputSourcesChangeEvent should provide an "added" property listing XRInputSource objects with a properly initialiazed gamepad property when a controller is "reconnected". Any idea for a workaround until a fix is implemented would be appreciated.
Meta deleted my organization
I created a Meta developer account several years ago and created an organization for my app. Back in 2022 I signed it and published the apk on itch.io and sidequest, but never submitted it to any of the Meta stores. Since then I've been enhancing its features on a different target system. Now I am attempting to port my enhancement for use on Quest and I find that Android Studio can't connect to my Quest 2. This used to work fine. It appears that Meta has deleted my organization between the last time I ran Android Studio and today, about a year ago based on some Reddit posts I read. I am guessing this is why I can't connect to my Quest 2 with Android Studio. So now I am trying to get my organization back so I can continue the porting process. I tried to figure out how to post a ticket to Meta support, but my attempts to do so end up going down a rabbit hole. Anybody know how I can recover from this? Should I just create the same organization? Does anybody know the link to post a ticket to Meta support for an issue like this?

I don't know what to do about these. I tried 5 different times and none of them worked. So if you could modify it and send one that works, that would be a huge help.
