Can’t upload add-ons (DLC/IAP) for PCVR app: “Permissions error” + “OAuthException”
Hi all, Is anyone else unable to upload asset files for add-ons (DLC/IAP) on PCVR (Link) apps? Every upload attempt ends in: "Permissions error", "type": "OCApiException", "code": 200 "An unknown error has occurred.", "type": "OAuthException", "code": 1 What I’ve tried: My apps and each DLC file is way less than 1GB Generated new app secret Removed and re-created the app in the developer hub Rebooted, tried different CLI versions Confirmed everything is set up correctly in dashboard Add-on is configured as normal, SKU matches, etc. No issues uploading add-ons for Quest/Android apps — only PCVR/Link I’ve seen a few others mention similar errors (over the years), but no solution yet. Is this a known Meta bug? Is there a workaround or is everyone just stuck waiting for a fix on Meta’s side? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!Evrience15 days agoHonored Guest0likes1CommentInstall an older version of Quest Link on Windows.
Hello, Is there a way to install an older version of Quest Link? We'd also like to be able to programmatically turn off automatic updates for the Quest Link app so we can validate updates before rolling out to other machines.QOPDEV119 days agoHonored Guest0likes5CommentsQuest 2 meta link not conected
0 Actualice el metalink y me parece esta pantalla cuando conecto por cable he comprobado cable. He desinstalado oculus home , y borrado todas las carpetas.
Hand-tracking using Meta Link
I have noticed for quite a while that PCVR lacks the ability to do hand tracking/finger tracking even though some 3rd party software allows for it (Virtual Desktop/Steam Link). The oculus Rift S is way in the past now, at least in comparison to the quest 2 and 3. I would love to see some real updates happen to the software used; the interface has been the same since the Rift S was launched and I haven't really seen meta mess with it much let alone update it's look/features. Some people have been talking about getting hand tracking with a developer account, but that's so out of the way for a consumer who has already paid for hand tracking and just wishes to use it on a better platform that's easily accessible to them (pcvr). I frequent VRChat which allows for hand tracking; and while I use steam link it can vary with performance and video quality. I know I can't do much in the way of making change here but I hope some developer will see this and try making something out of it. I would love to see at least something made of the original oculus menu, even if it's something like attaching a screen to a remote like Steam can, or just going through with the watch idea after so many years.TechnoTheWolf28 days agoExplorer1like0CommentsVR downloads Error ovr88948175
I run a VR facility in a business environment. When I set up a non-admin user with the META Quest Link app, I get an error message when trying to set the VR downloads location [ovr88948175]. After some google searching we learned that if we add this registry [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Oculus VR, LLC\Oculus\Libraries], we the user no longer gets the error on the VR downloads screen and can successfully complete setup of the app. This being a business environment, the META Quest Link tool needs to function as an enterprise grade application during setup, because each user needs to run it in order to be able to use the headset. My IT is suspicious that META Quest Link was not written for corporate use, rather for home use and assumes that the user has full administrator privileges. That is not the case in a corporate use type setting. Generally, our experience has been that enterprise grade applications are written so that the user does not need to be a full administrator at any point in the setup to run the application. Can someone confirm that is the case here?RobertCave2 months agoHonored Guest1like0CommentsThe real issue with dell xps gpu 4070 RTX having problem connecting to meta link app for pcvr
The compatibility issue is around for more than a year and meta didn’t fix it yet. I have a dell xps with 4070 RTX GPU and thought it would have no issue at all working with meta app. The reality is that it doesn’t work at all and I have been troubleshooting this issue with chatgpt help for a week with no good news. The conclusion I found after looking at the logs in debug tools it shows an issue with the hybrid gpu setup in the laptop. I contacted meta support and they told me they don’t support laptops. It turned out the root cause of the problem is that there are 2 GPUs inside the laptop: 1- Intel integrated for the display 2- nvidia gpu for rendering. When meta runs it checks for the whitelist gpu and does a check to give validation. Your gpu could be compatible but if its not connected to a display its marked as noOutput in the hybrid gpu check as shown in the pic below and this is the main reason for the validation fail. I have tried to find a solution to make nvidia gpu connected to the display but could not, it seems all ports and display are connected directly to the intel gpu and it only uses nvidia gpu for rendering. it also seems that meta support doesn’t care about solving this issue and just tells me to buy a PC so I can use the link app, as PC has dedicated gpu cards that can be used directly for output. i would really appreciate anyone having the same issue to help with troubleshooting and trying to find a solution as Meta is not thinking of fixing this problem.AlFakhama2 months agoHonored Guest0likes0Comments
