Skip PC VR setup everyday through headset!
We wanted to use Quest (have v2 currently) headsets for showroom VR, but they have proved too complex for none-IT users to deal with, even if you are accustomed to PC tech the way you have to put on the headset and choose the PC link every time is a drag and at times the it's glitchy. Hi everyone, so I just got my meta quest 3, I want them to play on them but also on pcvr, the problem comes when I install the meta que link on my PC, and suddenly appears that my pc doesn't fulfill the minimum components to do PCVR, but here comes the weird thing my pc has a Ryzen 5 series 7000, an RTX 4050, 16 gb DDR5, and a 1TB storage, I have try everything, force oculus client to use my dedicated graphics card, not the integrated graphics, change some specifications on how does the graphics card interact with programs and games, y have change some settings so I could play No Mans Sky VR, by steam, but nothing works, the message keps appearing, my game goes like trash even tho I put the settings on low (standar), the debug tool its set on 200 to 300 mb of data transfer, I been trying leveling that up, but if I do that the game won't even start, games like the forest and half-life Alyx crash suddenly with barely 10 min gameplay.. 0 Actualice el metalink y me parece esta pantalla cuando conecto por cable he comprobado cable. He desinstalado oculus home , y borrado todas las carpetas. Bueno, he cambiado el nombre a la carpeta. He seguido los pasos pero cuando vuelva a conectar me vuelve a aparecer la pantalla con esos tres puntitos y se queda esperando. I want to connect my Oculus rift S to the Unreal Engine. I don't know how to connect this. When I open Unreal, it is not in the list of devices. I can't see my devive in the Oculus Developer Hub too. I don't know where the developer mode can be changed either. Hello, I'm developping for a special hardware and we're trying to switch from HP G2 PCVR to Quest 3 since the availability of the former is waning. We've been working hard to make it work at least as well as it did with the HP, both visually and performance wise. Now we're close to having it all together, except for the sound. With the HP Headset we had audio in both the HMD and PC speakers. With the Quest 3, we have that as well, but only when the proximity sensor is triggered (aka. Headset is on). - Headset On -> audio on both HMD and PC - Headset Off -> only audio on HMD. Is it the expected behavior ? Cause I feel what you'd want, is to have the audio from the HMD turned off when you remove it, not the opposite ? Wether it is expected or not, is there any way, in unity or in the meta software to disable that and keep the audio of the PC playing ? I have created a PCVR title that uses Cesium to stream global terrain data at runtime.to the users PC. In reviewing AppLab requirements, it appears that content may only be streamed from the users PC, and not from a cloud server. Can someone confirm that this requirement effectively disqualifies my title from being approved for AppLab? When trying to run the sample project provided in the Oculus PC SDK for Windows, I get the error that it is unable to start the program due to LibOVRKernel.lib as it is not a valid Win32 application. Does anyone have any advice on how to get the sample project running? We are a VR game-dev team. For months now we are trying to get game into the Rift Store, but we constantly fail VRC.PC.Functional.5 check. The description on the "resolution" of the test is contradictory to what the subject of VRC.PC.Functional.5 is about. Given commentary (see screenshot) is NOT a hard requirement, as stated in "VRC.PC.Performance.5". This looks like a mistake on the Meta side, or a contradiction. Either way, we can't even begin to fix that, which we have no idea about. There is zero information out there as to how these test are performed. And absolutely no info on how to contact (if) any of the support regarding such questions. We need a clear, human answer as to "What" we are failing and "Why". We need to get in touch with someone who is linked to the Developer support or the testing itself.
