Is VR any good for no hands ?
Hello: I was looking at the Meta Quest 3 VR Unit at Costco and realized it might be a genius move to buy for my daughter. She is quadriplegic and I thought she might be able to experience things she otherwise can't. It would be great to have her put these things on and be able to experience riding a horse or figure skating for example. She can't really use her hands, so I was hoping folks in here would know if there were many games/experiences available that would take her on adventures in the world without having to use hand controls ? Questions about app referrals
Hey everyone. First of all, I've read the related pages: https://www.meta.com/en-gb/help/orders-and-returns/240408565199886/ and https://www.meta.com/it/en/legal/quest/digital-content-referrals/ I have some questions that aren't answered in either of them: if someone clicks my link and accepts the referral but does not purchase/purchases and then refunds the app, is that slot lost? Or does the use count return to me if one of these things happen? is there a way to see a counter of how many times a specific link has been used? does the 15% discount remain constant for every person who redeems a certain app or does it decrease over usage (eg: 1st 15%, 2nd 10%, 3rd 5%)? do the persons need to stay friends until 14 days have passed since the purchase? In other words, is it safe to unfollow someone if I've redeemed the referral linked to them? Thank you in advance!
How to Disable Auto Startup of Meta Horizon Link
tep 1. right click on the meta horizon link app and open file location. File needed will most likely be named "Client" under the "oculus-client" folder. Do not click, but keep this window open. Step 2. Press the Windows key and R Step 3. Type in the box shell:startup Now you have both the startup and Oculus-Client folders open. Step 4. Go back to the Oculus window and single-click on "Client" and copy the file (CTRL+C) Step 5. Now paste the file (CTRL+V) into the startup folder you just opened. Step 6. Now go to settings/apps/startup (or search, startup apps) and you should see "Client.exe" app on there and now you can turn it off. Step 7. Test and let me know how it goes :)
Oculus Rift S stuck on Checking Sensors
Trying to setup Oculus Rift S on Win 10 computer. Haven't used it for 2 years and have new PC. When running setup it is stuck on Checking Sensors and won't progress. Tried multiple USB ports. Changed room, lighting, cleaned sensors etc. Ensured Power Options correct. Can't figure out how to submit a support ticket?
