Change default home back to passthrough
I disable auto updates so that I don't have to deal with annoying stuff such as "loft" being turned on and replacing the default passthrough main view. (But of course, this headset auto updates even if I turn off auto updates) I want to imagine that the virtual worlds on the headset don't exist at all- passthrough, until I open an app or game explicitly. Latest update I can go into passthrough, but I can't do anything with it, and there's an annoying unclosable popup saying I can go back to the loft at any time... And clicking the oculus button used to open quick settings (RIP easy access, revert the navigator) but now it GOES BACK TO THE LOFT, WHY. I want to go back to the loft NEVER. WHO ASKED FOR FORCED SOCIAL FEATURES, forced digital environments? I got the quest 2 and 3 for the hardware, and the software is awful and gets worse each update. WHERE'S MOVE WITH YOU WINDOWS??? Steam Link Don't work on my Meta Quest 2
Hello , i try to play to vr game with steam link but steam link don't want to work , i explain : When i launch steam link it say "local network only" but , i'm on a local network , i have the same wifi on pc and my meta , on pc i'm with cable to get wifi When i launch steam VR my meta can connect , so i click connect but it's put me on an infinite load so i just can't connect The last time i play a games on vr was 1 month ago so it work , but not now , i try a lot of thing i found on internet on what a friend told me - Restart my Router - Put my wifi private -Disable Protection for wifi I ping the ip of my meta on the cmd and it's say it work well but steam link don't want So can u help me pls !SolvedSolasso14 days agoExplorer0likes6Comments
VR Table Tennis disappeared from my apps
I have the Horizon+ membership and the VR Table Tennis app was free. I installed it and played with it. Past month or more I didn't play it again (bought a VR TT paddle) .. I tried to play the game today and even though it was installed, it is no longer in my installed apps. Perhaps, I am not understanding how Horizon+ subscription works .. do the games disappear? or are they free only for a month or so? Issues with Meta Library and Steam Games
Hi, I have an oculus rift S which I'm running on an Asus GA502IU laptop with a USB-C to displayport adapter. I originally had some issues with the rift S screen staying black, but managed to get this working by disabling the inbuilt AMD GPU to force the laptop to use the GTX 1660TI instead (For some reason, forcing OVRserver etc, to use the Nvidia GPU didnt rectify this, I can only get the display to work by completely disabling the AMD GPU). I have 2 issues with the setup now which are preventing me from using the headset. 1. Meta Horizon library wont Launch Games If I try to open any occulus/Meta Horizon app or game, the menu briefly blinks in and out and the app does not open. Steam games open fine, but have their own issues listed below. 2. Games in SteamVR run very slow, but SteamVR dashboard works fine When I open into steam VR dashboard, everything works fine, I'm able to load scenes, environments, props etc. with no issues. I even tried spawning in a lot of balls etc. and throwing them at eachother to push the physics simulation a bit further and it had no issues. However, when I open a steam game (The Lab or Superhot VR) the response times to hand movement become very slow and FPS drops to about 3. Looking at task manager, no CPU core is fully utilised and GPU usage is much lower than it was in the steam dashboard, indicating it not being a limitation of the hardware power. Nothing I've tried so far seems to fix these problems, including: Restarting laptop/headset Re-installing Meta Horizon Link and clearing all occulus appdata files Setting Steam apps (including VR dashboard etc.) to use Nvidia/High performance processor in both Nvidia control panel and windows graphics settings disabling windows game mode Updating GPU drivers to latest Reducing steamVR sample scaling to 100% Ensured hardware accelerated GPU scheduling is off. Any guidance that could help me potentially help me fix either of these problems would be greatly appreciated. I've tried googling but seem to bit a bit stuck for now. Hello, I purchased some clothing items in the store, but an error occurred during the process. The coins were deducted, but the items are not in my wardrobe. When I go back to the store, the items are still listed with a price, as if I need to buy them again, and my money is gone. Who can I contact about this? So far, this has happened with three items that I paid for but did not receive. App not starting due to parental control, but it's the adult account
We have an issue with Gorilla Tag which doesn't start up, after an update. It says: Can't play this app because it is pegi 3, set up parental guidance. But, since the app is the adult account, which manages the parental control of child accounts, it doesn't have any parental control settings. Any ideas? Hi there, I’m hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. The other day I decided to revisit some games I had purchased on my Quest 1, only to discover that my account is now unusable. After the account migration, it appears to have completely disappeared, all the games and apps I bought are gone, along with the money I spent on them. I’ve tried to contact support, but I haven’t been able to get any access to it. It feels particularly frustrating given that Meta has stopped supporting Quest 1 users, which makes it difficult not to wonder whether this situation is being overlooked because resolving it could involve significant refunds. When I originally purchased these games, there was nothing in the policy stating that my account could effectively be deleted or that I could permanently lose access to purchases. From my perspective, it feels as though I’ve paid for content that has simply been taken away. This situation is extremely frustrating, and I genuinely don’t understand why this would happen to paying customers. First of all, I've read the related pages: https://www.meta.com/en-gb/help/orders-and-returns/240408565199886/ and https://www.meta.com/it/en/legal/quest/digital-content-referrals/ I have some questions that aren't answered in either of them: if someone clicks my link and accepts the referral but does not purchase/purchases and then refunds the app, is that slot lost? Or does the use count return to me if one of these things happen? is there a way to see a counter of how many times a specific link has been used? does the 15% discount remain constant for every person who redeems a certain app or does it decrease over usage (eg: 1st 15%, 2nd 10%, 3rd 5%)? do the persons need to stay friends until 14 days have passed since the purchase? In other words, is it safe to unfollow someone if I've redeemed the referral linked to them?
