Meta Quest Link Update: Link Launch Issue Resolved
Hi everyone, We recently identified an issue with Meta Quest Link unable to launch which caused users to be stuck in the app launch loading screen. We’ve now released an update that should resolve this problem. What’s changed: The main issue is fixed, and you should be able to use Meta Quest Link as expected. Please note: For now, you won’t be able to see your hands in Dash. However, raycasts are visible, and you should be able to interact with games and other content as usual. Thank you for your patience while we worked on this fix! If you continue to experience any issues, please let us know in the comments.Abdallah.hilali39 minutes agoMeta Employee13likes140CommentsMy Invites Casting and calls are not working

When i try to cast from meta horizon app it says that the host ended the casting even though i didnt. When i try to invite my friend to a multiplayer game for him it says can not join, try later. When he invites me it works well. Finally when i try to call my friend through the chats app it instantly says "You ended the call" . I have spent several hours reasearching and it never worked. I do not know what to do , please helpMark403012 hours agoGuest0likes1CommentThe left controller does not connect.
Hi, my Oculus Quest 2 controller won't connect. I've tried everything I've found online: changing the battery, unpairing and re-pairing them from the mobile app. The same thing always happens. When I connect it, it tries to update the firmware of the left controller, but it gets stuck. The controller constantly displays a flashing SOS signal, three long flashes, three short flashes, three long flashes. I've restarted the glasses, I've factory reset them, I think the problem is the failed update I suppose, but I'm in a loop where I've already tried everything.0likes1Comment8 digit code to connect child
Hi all, I have a Meta Quest 2 and I am logged in on my parent account. Credit card set up and I've made purchases before. I add my child in Family Center, and they show up in the Horizon app, so that's good. However, in the Horizon app, I go to my device "Manage Profiles" and there is no button to add, I can only see my 1 connected profile. If I go to the profiles in the headset itself, it asks for the new user's email address, but my child's account doesn't have an email address. If I try going to meta.com/device I see my account and my child's account, however in order to add them to the headset it asks for an 8-digit code. No code appears in the headset or anywhere else that I can see. I only have my 5-digit pairing code I found in the settings, but that doesn't help. I've tried restarting the headset, no change. Can anyone help unstick me?Joels34116 hours agoGuest0likes1CommentQuest 3 stuck on same five-digit pairing code
My Quest 3 is stuck showing the same 5-digit pairing code and cannot complete setup. I’ve tried factory reset, browser pairing, Meta Horizon app, and all available support channels. I do not have access to the Meta Quest app, and the headset cannot reach the Support menu. The pairing code never changes and is not accepted on meta.com/device. I believe the device may be locked in enterprise mode and needs a firmware restore or replacement. Meta’s Help Center no longer provides access to device support forms. I need help from Meta staff to resolve this. Is that normal?
I have set up my Quest 1 with a Meta account. The Quest's UI only shows a Profile name (@…), no other account information. I can access my purchased games there, too. On https://secure.oculus.com/my/quest/ I can see those same games for the Quest. So, the account I use there knows about my original Quest account and the installed games. However, when I click the "Devices" link on that page, it opens https://auth.meta.com/settings/my/devices/ but that page shows NO devices ("A Meta Quest device isn't registered to your account right now. Set up a headset to get started."). Is that expected behavior? Or what might be wrong that prevents my Quest 1 to appear in the meta account? The link "personal details" (going to https://accountscenter.meta.com/?returnURL=profile ) also clearly knows about my @… Profile, so that connection is set up. I just wonder if something is missing.Solvedschedelbert1 day agoExplorer0likes4CommentsMeta horizon completely unusable
I just spent $300 on a new quest 3, and I can't even use it because the app is garbage. I might as well just return it at this point, I have spent the past 2 hours researching ways to get the app to run just long enough for me to set up my quest and after uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting my phone tens of times nothing has changed. Why would you even require a mobile app???? That's the dumbest idea I've ever heard, why can't I just set it up through the computer??? I don't use apple, I have an Android phone, it's fully up to date with plenty of storage so there's nothing wrong on my end, it's the app.lolibonerfart1 day agoHonored Guest0likes4Commentsmeta horizon link/ quest 2 / new update connecting error

After installing latest Meta Horizon Windows app update (85.0.0.239.552), the display inside headset freezes (sometimes goes black, similar to when proximity sensor kicks in, but while still wearing VR headset) after a few seconds after establishing cabled link (official 5m cable). Have to restart PC and re-establish Link to get it to work again, but then same happens after a few seconds. Can still hear audio inside headset, and when using games it seems to do head tracking (monitor screen updates, but not inside headset). This also happens inside the Meta Link view (grey environment with grid floor and ceiling inside VR headset after establishing link). Firmware in VR headset is also on latest version, This happened after updating Meta Horizon Windows app on 3rd/4th March. Before this it was working perfect. Have tested this on 4 different PC's, with 3 different Meta Quest 3 headsets and one Quest Pro, with same result. Hardware on test PC's: Windows 11, different i9 processors (13th/14th gen, Intel Core Ultra 9), RTX 5090 laptop, RTX 5070 Ti Desktop, RTX 4090 desktop. 64GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Drivers 595.71 WHQL driver + latest Windows updatesolavrv.20251 day agoProtege0likes2Comments
