Meta Quest Link Update: Link Launch Issue Resolved
Hi everyone, We recently identified an issue with Meta Quest Link unable to launch which caused users to be stuck in the app launch loading screen. We’ve now released an update that should resolve this problem. What’s changed: The main issue is fixed, and you should be able to use Meta Quest Link as expected. Please note: For now, you won’t be able to see your hands in Dash. However, raycasts are visible, and you should be able to interact with games and other content as usual. Thank you for your patience while we worked on this fix! If you continue to experience any issues, please let us know in the comments.Abdallah.hilali7 minutes agoMeta Employee12likes109CommentsAdding Meta Quest 3

I own a Meta Quest 2 I am having horizon link issues and a possible fix I read about was doing a factory reset and reconnecting my device. After performing the factory reset, the headset can no longer be paired to my account. Now finding this forum i see a lot of people are having connectivity issues but i put myself further away. Meta systems show: - No devices associated with my Meta account - Serial number starting with 1WMM returns “device not found” - Meta Quest mobile app throws GraphQLError 1675012 (OCDeviceProfilesManagerSurfaceQuery – Device ID must be specified) The Meta support website blocks ticket creation because there is no device record. This appears to be a backend device desynchronization / orphaned device issue. I am the first and only owner of this device. Requesting Meta staff escalation for manual backend device reassociation or resolution.SolvedCursivePizza4313 hours agoHonored Guest0likes7CommentsCannot connect to PC using Link
Dear Support, I know several people report the same problem: I am trying to connect to my PC using Meta Quest Link. Remote desktop does work properly, but when I try to enable Link, I get nothing but the black screen with Meta logo and three dots. I have tried connecting using both AirLink and via cable, same result. PC connected by ethernet cable. I have checked the PC requirements and I think I meet them all, but perhaps laptops don't work as well with Link? What I have: 1. Meta Quest 3 headset (all updated) 2. Meta Quest Link app installed and updated 3. PC drivers all updated. 4. Hardware: (it's a gaming laptop) AMD Ryzen 7 5800 CPU Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU 32GB DDR4 Ram Windows 11 USB 3.1 ports, new USB-3 cables, etc. I appreciate any help you can give. Kind regards, JeremySolvedKaratemanJer13 hours agoExplorer0likes11CommentsPurple Sky PCVR Link loading screen gets stuck/locked/frozen
I bought a Quest 3, a couple of days ago, it initially worked ok. But I wanted to get the best out of it, so I gave ChatGPT all my PC/GPU/Game and play information, of which I updated all the various settings, until I broke the PC Link, after 8 hours of trouble shooting/multiple reinstalls. I eventually found the one setting out of nearly 200 that resolved my issue. I found out that the Purple Sky PCVR Link loading screen gets stuck/locked/frozen if you have used the Oculus Debug Tool and set the Encode Bitrate (Mbps) too high (I can use 940, but NOT 1000, my cable tests at 2.9Gbps)! To test, set it to 0 (auto), use the Service menu to Restart Oculus Service, wait 2 mins and try the link again. Note: Restarting the Oculus Service this way kicks you out of the Purple Sky PCVR Link loading screen. Happy VR'ing!Moofman14 hours agoGuest1like2CommentsIssue with Adding Accounts and App Sharing on Meta Quest
Hello Meta Support, I am experiencing a series of issues regarding account management on my Quest device: Cannot Add Profile: When trying to add a new account, it shows "You are unable to be added to this device at this time." App Sharing Error: I cannot enable App Sharing, receiving the error "Something went wrong." Invite Error: Failed to send invite links with the error "There was a problem sending the invite." I have checked my internet connection and both device and app are up to date. Looking forward to your reply. Thanks!angola49215 hours agoHonored Guest0likes8CommentsConnecting to my PC
I really need help with my PC I don't know if I supposed to have a gaming computer or a gaming laptop but I'm using a regular laptop to connect my Oculus and won't connect I'm using a USB type c to connect to my PC but it won't connectSolvedjavon.claiborne.718 hours agoHonored Guest9likes24CommentsQuest 3/ Air Link stopped working/ No connection to PC/ PC found but Start Button is greyed out...
I've been using the Quest 3 for almost 8 months now, and before i used the Quest 2 without any problems via Air link/same router/same PC... This Saturday I'm playing Borderland 2 VR and on Monday the Quest 3 can no longer connect to the PC without any reason. If I want to activate Air Link via the Q3, my PC is displayed in the Air Link Menü as before, but the Start Button for Air Link remains gray and it says "not connected". I've already tried everything:Hard reseting the Headset, factory reset, router reset, PC & Quest 3 reset, Meta Quest Link restart via the beta menu in the PC Oculus APP, repair function of the Meta Quest APP, firewall completely switched off but nothing... Then I read that you should completely delete the Oculus software with all folders and reinstall it. I did that and lo and behold it worked, for exactly ONE day.... When I booted up my PC today and started Quest 3, the same problem... The PC is displayed but the start button to start Air Link remains gray and it is not connected. WHY? Do I have to completely uninstall the software every time, including all folders, then reinstall it in order to be able to play via Air link for exactly ONE day, which has worked for over 3 years before (Quest 1, Quest 2, Quest 3) without any problems? The connection works immediately using the original Meta Quest Link cable. Virtual Desktop APP works also... PLEASE Help!SolvedPlaysianer18 hours agoExpert Protege9likes242Comments
