The cable keeps disconnecting
Hi, even with the original cable, my Oculus 2 keeps disconnecting after about 5 minutes of use. The thing is, the software keeps running (I can see it on the monitor), and sometimes the Meta app itself tells me the headset is connected and I see the green circle. The cable is in good condition, not stretched or damaged, and all the software is up to date... in fact, I've reinstalled everything. Any ideas? Hi, I recently bought Meta Quest 3 and trying to use it for the first time. Unfortunately after putting the wifi info into my Quest it is stuck on the screen that tells me to put the code into the app. I've downloaded the app (I've got Google Pixel so Android app) and tried to pair my device. I'm trying this for a few hours now and it still says that it can't find my device after putting in the code. I'm sure the wifi is exactly the same in Quest as in my phone. I'ce tried both types of wi-fi 2,4 and 5. Bluetooth in my phone is on and I've given all the permissions. The app still can't find my Quest 3. Can you help me?Solvedroger.waszkiewicz28 days agoExplorer0likes6CommentsMeta Horizon app black screen
The app keeps showing a black screen. My Quest 3 headset, which I just bought, stays on the screen asking me to enter the pairing code to link it to my account, but since the Meta Horizon app is stuck on a black screen, I'm unable to complete the pairing process. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?SolvedTzipitl1 month agoHonored Guest0likes4CommentsConnection Issue
Ive checked my wifi router and it’s working fine, but any online games on meta won’t work even though my headset has a good internet connection, the problem started happening a month before but was gone and was only spearing every week, but know it’s really bad and doesn’t work at all since April 29th at around 7pm, I don’t know if something happened then and it hasn’t been resolved but the problem is not on my end, anyone know what’s going on? Could there also be a software update I need that I didn’t get yet? I’m on version 2.3 and it says I’m up to date.SolvedUnpaidNPC1 month agoExplorer0likes9Commentsgraphics card compatible?
meta horizon link is saying my graphics card is incompatible when it should be compatible. i am using an AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT which came out after the minimum requirement for graphics card, which means it should be compatible. i suspect it may be because its too new but its displayed before that it is able to recognize it and expresses that it may be not powerful enough for a enjoyable vr experience, however whenever i try to connect it says it cant because the graphics card is incompatible. specs: meta quest 3s (vr headset), amd radeon RX 6500 xt (graphics card), 16 gb of ram (not graphics card), and using air link with a pc that uses ethernet.Solvedwarforged2631 month agoHonored Guest0likes9CommentsMeta Quest Pairing Issue
Anybody else having this issue where the headset shows as paired in the Meta Horizon app after a factory reset, but it’s NOT paired on the website at all? I’ve tried a lot of things and still couldn’t fix it. I reached out to support, but their solution was just to factory reset the headset again—which I’ve already done multiple times. I made sure to connect to a stronger Wi-Fi network, followed the factory reset process correctly, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the Meta Horizon app. Now I’m stuck on the pairing screen on the headset.SolvedTheAceer2 months agoExplorer1like4Commentslink showing frozen image on quest but fine and working on monitor.
I dont know how this even happens but its one of the most confusing bugs ive ever seen. on my monitor everything is fine and i can see myself moving around and I can still do stuff, but on my headset I see a frozen image and if I press the oculus button it opens up standalone and it says im playing link (happens when you crash link) the frozen image bends when i move which i think is normal??? my friend also has this problem so its almost definitely a link issue.Solvedcrispysandwhich2 months agoExplorer0likes3CommentsLink needing PC restart to reconnect
Hello, I've started having this issue just recently, as it was working fine before. Basically the meta link would work fine until 5-10 minutes in, then the headset display would freeze, though the audio and head movement did not. Restarting the headset and re-plugging the link cable in don't work, and if I were to disconnect the horizon link, then no matter what I did, the link would not connect anymore. The only way to get the link started again that I've found is to just do a full PC restart. I'm using a Quest 3 and a brand new link cable, but I doubt those are the issue. I've tried some fixes I've seen on here but none worked. And before you tell me about AirLink, no, it's too unstable for me to use.Solvedunavi3g2 months agoHonored Guest1like3Comments
