Degly is an experienced AR and VR Unity developer who has organized hackathons, workshops, and mentoring programs across Colombia and Latin America for hundreds of developers. He’s currently based in Tokyo, and is excited to help you use Meta’s toolkit to lower the barrier for entry for creating world class experiences with cutting-edge technologies for use across the world.

    Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I'm so happy to be here.

    I’m really excited to be joining Start as a mentor and to support creators from all backgrounds. A big part of my journey has been around not just building XR experiences, but helping them actually reach people through better visibility, community, and storytelling around the product.

    The best part of this field is that we have the ability to make people amazed with what is coming in the near future, so I want to keep doing it and share what I have learned over the years.

    I’m especially looking forward to helping creators and devs turn ideas into shippable XR apps, think strategically about growth and presence, and navigate their own paths in the XR industry.
