Audio distance

I have sublevels scattered around a large space but I find that I have to have duplicate sound clips within each sublevel because of a built-in audio distance limit (apparently 1000 meters?).

This seems to apply even if I set the audio to be global.

Is there a solution (beyond duplicating my audio clips?)

Following up - carrying the sounds on the starship worked! I have four starships so this requires duplicating some short audio clips but no additional coding.

There are multiple starships that activate and deactivate sublevels as they move around but yes, moving the audio clips may be a simpler solution. I can try giving each starship its own set of sounds and store them onboard.

It can also improve performance. Leaving audio in other sub-levels can still trigger them and affect performance if you're not careful.
