Blocked Access to Meta Horizon in Egypt
I just discovered that Meta Horizon is blocked in Egypt, which unfortunately prevents me and many other developers here from creating or participating in the current hackathon.
This is frustrating because it means we are missing out on the opportunity to experiment, innovate, and build games using the very tools Meta is encouraging the global community to try.
I sincerely hope that someone from the Meta team can clarify whether there is a chance to enable access to Meta Horizon in Egypt, even temporarily, so developers here can take part and make the most of this hackathon.
Access to these tools is essential for us to learn, contribute, and grow within the ecosystem. Blocking us out means blocking potential talent and creativity.
Sadly, as you pointed out, Egypt is not yet on the supported countries list here: https://www.meta.com/help/quest/759652432136500/?srsltid=AfmBOor4Bw6Hn_EIUdm35nz5VcUDxRmStZG4FnfOv_JFK2xiTGuWO3Fn
We don't know when Meta will release in these countries but I am sure they will as soon as it is legal to do so. There will be more hackathons for creators to participate in.
