CUI Spatial mode full screen

Is there a way to have spatial CUI fill the full screen? I had no issue in desktop, but in VR could not get it to fill screen.

I tested using width and height above 100%, tried all kinds of sizes, changed scale and was not able to find a way.

It is useful to have fullscreen for certain effects, were a box would look odd.

I am assuming you can use spatial and attach to head, but not sure, would be odd to have to go that route though.

Yea that's how it works for VR, I believe it has to do with comfort. From what I hear the screen overlay UI can cause motion sickness as it is in VR so if it closer it could make it worse.

I also have a full screen overlay in one of my worlds and I move parts in and out of view. In VR they become invisible when out of view so I can assume that is the extent of the UI screen for VR.

  • The spatial UI should just be in place in VR. Are you talking about the screen overlay UI where it gets attached to the screen/camera?

Ya, sorry about that, I meant overlay won't cover full screen in vr. Only does a center box area.
