Hopefully one day we will be able to do this and I am super excited to see your animated creatures in Horizon if we are one day able to! 💜
Hey Willow,
If you have the time and are curious, I’d be interested in animating your characters within Horizon. You can export your character into separate parts: files for the legs (thigh, kneecap, and lower leg), arms (upper arm, elbow, and forearm), neck, head, upper mouth, jaw, and each eye. We can hand-animate, so currently, this is the only option within Meta Horizon. Animating each part individually and grouping them together. There are limitations, however, depending on what you are looking for, could come out looking pretty sick. A great reference for some hand animation that I adore within Meta Horizon are moments in worlds by Fred819: Jurassic Island series and Valley Of The Kings.
Let me know, I took off work this week and have some extra time.
Cheers!
Thanks for the offer! I prefer doing things myself and can learn to do it that way, but was just hoping that eventually Horizon will allow animated things to be imported as it would be so much easier and open up so many more possibilities. I'll go check out those worlds you mentioned, that will be good inspiration! Thank you!!!
Absolutely Willow! I totally understand wanting to learn by doing. Hit me up if you ever want to animate something with someone 🤙
Soon I’m sure we will be able to import animated objects. As of now, have fun moving everything by hand. You’ll be handling your own puppet!
Definitely check out those worlds, just fun to see what can be done.
Don’t forget to send over your moving character in a thread once it’s implemented into a world! I checked out your website thanks to UtterlyOtter, definitely get one of your characters up and running.
Cheers!

Yes I find it's the best way to learn by actually doing it! I'll definitely share when I get one going. Thanks again!!!
