Headset not added — returns to Home after pressing “Continue” during setup

Hello,

I’m trying to add my headset, but the setup does not complete and always returns to the Home screen.

 

Here is what happens step by step:

1. On the first screen, it says “No device found” and I press “Add Headset.”

2. Then the second screen appears, and I press “Continue.”

3. Instead of proceeding with device pairing or setup, it immediately goes back to the Home screen.

The headset is not added, and the same “No device found” screen appears again.

Because of this, I cannot complete the headset registration at all.

 

 

 

+Additionally,

when I try connecting the headset via Wi-Fi using Air Link,

 the PC and headset do connect with a pairing code, so the pairing itself seems to work.

However, after that, it gets stuck on a loading screen (as shown in Image 2), and the next screen (Image 3) never appears.

At the same time, in the Meta Quest Link app on the PC, I get the message:

 

“Meta Quest Link is not working properly.

Headset not found. Please connect your headset.”

 

Because of this, I cannot actually use Air Link either, even though the pairing code step succeeds.

 

Meta Horizen Link Version is  83.0.0.333.349(83.0.0.333.349)

      yeah, probably.  everyone in our office had issues with link all day.

        Regarding the "add headset" bug in the PC app which returns you to the Home screen, you must initiate the pairing process from the Link settings in the headset. The PC app is bugged.
