Help: Edit Avatar Unable to edit problem

Hello!

I'm currently using the Worlds Desktop Editor to create an NPC in my world. When I click the “Edit Avatar” button, it correctly redirects me to the web page where I should be able to edit the NPC — however, instead of loading the editor, it only shows the message:

“This page isn't available right now.”

I've tried multiple browsers including Firefox, Chrome, and Brave, but the same issue occurs every time.

Interestingly, when I share the edit link with my friend, they can open it and edit the NPC without any problem.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or know what might cause it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

  • Hello!

What troubleshooting have you done besides for using different browsers?
    Have you tried incognito mode?
    Clearing cache/cookies?

    Looking forward to your response.

  • Hello!

    Thank you for your reply.

My main browser is Chrome. I’ve tried using Guest Mode, different Chrome profiles, and Incognito Mode, but the same issue still occurs.

Each time I attempt to edit the NPC, it goes through the Meta login process — I’ve tried both Facebook login and email login, but the issue still happens.

I haven’t tried clearing cache/cookies yet, since I’m not entirely sure how to do that properly.
    Thank you again!

For Chrome go into the settings menu next to your profile image and find this option:

It will bring you to a page where you can select cache and cookies to be deleted. Make sure you select "All Time" as the date range.

Thank you for providing the steps to clear the cache. I followed the instructions and cleared the cache, but unfortunately, the issue persists.

In addition to switching browsers, I also tried changing my network by sharing Wi-Fi from my phone, but the problem still occurs.

  • Hello!

I just noticed an error on the web page, and I'm not sure if this information is related to the root cause of the issue.
