Horizon Desktop Editor black screen + Quest link app login fail
I'm trying to install the meta horizon desktop editor.
The downloading was fine and the installing was also fine, but it only shows black when I open the app. And the icon on desktop is also wrong.My friend downloaded it as well, his icon was fine, but still black screen after opened. Maybe anyone knows what could be the issue? I'm really appreciated.
For reference, my PC is i5-9400, RAM 16GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER, Win10.
Someone suggested to download from meta quest link app, but I stuck after it redirected me to website to log in. I logged in on website successfully, but the app stuck.
Also, I'm in China, but with vpn on. Can't even try logging in if I turn off vpn.

It looks like you're having a similar issue as listed here.
A few ways that creators fixed the issue:- Download the C++ redistributable
- Delete the folder here in your local directory:
C:\Users\<YOUR_USER>\AppData\LocalLow\Meta\Horizon Worlds
- Uninstall and re-install the editor
A reminder that Horizon Worlds is currently only supported in these countries . If you live in a country that is unsupported, Horizon Worlds and the Desktop Editor may not behave as expected.
