How did you get here?

Is there a reason why a meta employee is an editor on all my worlds? I've never seen this before and i am actually a little concerned about them being added as a editor. If they aren't making any alterations, then they could've just been a tester or not added at all. 🤔

  • Hello!

If you’ve submitted a report about a bug or issue, it’s common for a Meta employee to add themselves to your world(s) so they can help triage and diagnose the problem. This allows them to investigate the issue directly and provide more effective support.

I hope this clarifies the process. If you have any other questions or need more details, please let me know!

  • Unfortunately, I haven't filed a report and this person has been added to all of my worlds as an editor.

  • I have just discovered the same thing in ALL of my worlds - even test worlds and drafts - an unknown username has somehow now been given the status of editor!  Not happy as this at first seems like a serious security breach, and even if it is 'innocent' as in a Meta employee being added to 'investigate' then this should be clearly communicated as such to save a shed load of stress and confusion!  I have filed a report to Meta with the username to let them know my concerns regarding this.
