Hey Pablos, No such luck. Ive tried for several days to get a transparent material to import into Horizon. I taught myself the basics of blender shading as Im a 3ds max guy.
Ive followed many tutorials on glass and transparent objects for Blender. But I cant get any of the dozens of variations to import correctly. They all import white. I couldnt even get a cube to import transparent or glass like.
The link you provided although helpful is vague to the actual importing a clean model. Alot of info seems to be missing or lost in translation.
Thanks for your time. Any other suggestions?
Would you be comfortable sharing screenshots of your current material/shader setup in Blender? This could help me identify what might be causing the issue.
If you prefer not to share, I can try to provide some specific troubleshooting steps for Horizon-compatible transparency.

Hey Pablo, I have no problem sharing screenshots. But my question would be which one. As stated above. Ive tried several tutorials and many iterations of changing shader settings, adding alpha pngs, glass bsdf, etc. Im betting Im missing a switch or colour setting somewhere.
I think starting from scratch would be best. Just the basics.
I want to export a simple cube from blender to Horizon transparent enough to see thru to the other side.
I think I can build on it after that.
Thanks for your time.
