Issue: Spatial CUI hides spawned assets on Desktop

Hi,

Running into an issue where my Spatial CUI hides spawned assets when user enters the interface.  The spawns appear only after I disengage the interface.  This occurs only in the desktop editor.  In vr the spawned in assets appear as normal.

Is this normal behaviour?  Is there a way to prevent this?

It's an in-game shop:  The user hits a buy button - the asset is spawned in near the button.

  • Sadly, this is "by design".  Any grabbable object in the world (even if not grabbed), and any object owned by the player will become invisible when a web/mobile player 'zooms in' on a custom ui. I hope they change this policy decision someday.

  • Definitely file a bug report in Zendesk. Other creators have reported the problem, but creating a ticket will help you get direct updates on the fix.

    If I remember correctly, the problem is that grabbable objects turn invisible when interacting with a CUI, regardless of whether they are spawned assets or not.
