Hi, I'm new to this, and still learning the basic tools, in starting to dabble in the 3D modeling. One thing I think would be very helpful would be like a PDF cheat sheets. There's so much to learn so many tools cheat sheetswith the essentials, and the absolute need to know would be extremely helpful for persons like myself who are completely new to creating in Horizon World. This is probably a long shot but there are a lot of times I have free time but not time where I can be on my headset or even on the computer. But time I could be reading, and studying I really wish There was a Creating in Horizon World For Dummies. Book 😄. I could read it while I'm cooking dinner, on my brakes, waiting in the doctor's office, (sigh) It would go everywhere with me 😊
Hello, VR_Adventures. Seeing new creators diving in is always so exciting. I have 3 links I want to share with you regarding Horizon as a whole, then I'll tag our 3D modeling Mentor to see if we can get you some extra references for modeling specifically.
Horizon Learn Center - This is your source for everything Horizon. All of Meta's official docs are located here.
Within the Learn center are many articles, but I want to direct you to a few specific ones.
Creator Manual - This is a fairly comprehensive document that attempts to cover as many technical aspects of Horizon as we could(in a limited amount of time).
Materials Guidance and Reference for Custom Models - Because you mentioned 3D modeling, I wanted to point you to this document, as it shows us all of the material types available right now.
There are plenty of other important sections in the Learn Center, so don't be afraid to poke around in the menu on the left side and explore other categories. Come back(start your own thread) with any questions you have, and we'll be happy to help!
SpaceGlitterUnicorn Any other 3D modeling references you recommend?
