Trying out the character builder and can't get any meshes to generate. Keep getting 'Cannot generate mesh' error. Anyone else having any luck? Maybe I'll again later.

I ran into the same error. I tried on two different devices and with two different internet providers. I’m in Vancouver, Canada. Could this be a region-related issue?
I haven’t been able to generate a Meta Avatar through the NPC builder all weekend (started trying on Friday morning). I also can’t “Edit Avatar” for existing Meta Avatar NPCs from the tutorials, so I’m guessing it’s a bug on the entire Character Builder connection to Meta Avatars. Is there an ETA for this to get resolved?

I know others are experiencing issues too. The team is aware of them, but I have had successful generations and failures. I try not to do or touch anything else while one is generating. I don't know what affect that has but I feel like it tends to fail when I'm selecting other preview images while it tries to generate.
I was able to get this to work last night. Try again and let me know if you are getting the same error.
If you are using an old NPC gizmo, pulled out prior to the last update, try pulling out a new one and see if it works.

Also, when trying to generate Meta Avatar from prompt, it goes straight to trying to generate mesh and fails.
