Traffic origin

I love the detailed activity stats available for my worlds. They give me a good idea how many people are visiting, how many hours they are spending and even what areas they are spending time in.

What I am missing is some idea of where the traffic is coming from, which is obviously going to be important if I start a real marketing campaign.

For example, the stats say that a world that I am not even promoting right now got about 200 visitors this weekend. It would be very useful to know how that happened.

Am I overlooking a way to get traffic origin information?

  • No, we don't have those insights yet. The only thing close is a new clickthrough metric they released this week.

  • Thanks. I just looked at the click though results for my Galactic Treasure Hunt game and they vary pretty randomly. Probably because there aren't many impressions per day yet.

  • Traffic can vary based on things like certain days have more users and more activity. Some times as simple as a few users come, some times they will bring in more users (send invites). The more users in the world the more others will join (seeing more users in world makes it seem more lively, may also impact search but not sure)... Their are some users that are pretty good at bringing others in, like large groups that like to check out worlds together.
