Unable to Map Desktop Editor to VS Code

Hi Friends. I have VS Code installed and the Desktop Editor has automatically recognized it. However, when I try to open up a script from the Desktop Editor, I receive an error (see attached). I am unable to find the exact file path on where to locate the VS Code. Anyone can help with this.

  • Hello. I'm not forward my computer but:

    • Try to make a new fresh installation of HorizonDesktop
    • Maybe you don't have VsCode in your environment variables. Open a Terminal and type: code. If VsCode start all is ok, else append the VsCode executable to your PATH env var.
  • Thanks for your responses. However, my problem still persists. I remember having this problem before, and came across my old chatGPT chat.

Also, I had Microsoft Visual Studio installed. I went an reinstalled VS Code, provided via this link https://code.visualstudio.com/download. In the wizard, I made sure that the "Add to Path" selection was checked.  I was able to find it via command prompt.
