When I first got my Oculus headset, I started playing Clash games with friends. Over time, I found myself wanting to tweak the experience, so I started modifying the template to make the game more in line with my vision. Seeing my ideas come to life was an incredible feeling, and it pushed me to learn more. I eventually started exploring scripting so I could build fully custom games from the ground up and move beyond templates. That’s when my creativity really took off, and I haven’t looked back since.
My biggest strength is scripting. I became highly skilled with code blocks early on, but since joining the MHCP, I’ve been diving into TypeScript. It’s been a challenging but exciting transition, and while I still have a long way to go, I’m enjoying the process of learning a more advanced scripting language. Every new challenge pushes me to grow, and I’m always looking for ways to improve my skills.
My signature world is Last Man Standing. It was my first fully custom world built entirely from scratch without using a template. The process took a long time, but it was an incredible learning experience that helped shape me as a creator. More recently, one of my favorite projects has been Fark It!, a dice game based on a childhood favorite. Bringing a real-world game into VR and making it interactive has been a fun and rewarding experience.
My goal is to keep learning and growing as a creator. Right now, I’m focusing on improving my skills in 3D modeling and graphic design by learning Blender and Substance Painter. Just like my journey with scripting, there’s a lot to absorb, but I love the challenge. I’m incredibly grateful to the people who have helped me along the way, and I’m excited to see where this path takes me next.
