What happens to ownership of object by Player after Player crashes or leaves the world?

i read that but i guess i am still confused what happens if an entity is orphaned from a user who crashed etc - does the entity just get disposed/deleted? Is that Discontinuous ownership transfer or Automatic ownership transfer?
A spawned entity will not dispose of itself unless you program it to do so. Ownership will just revert back to the serverplayer automatically when a player exits either by crash or manually.
