Hello,🖐 I installed the Worlds Desktop Editor from the official website, and it was working fine initially. I downloaded it the day before yesterday and was able to use it for about a day without any issues. However, now when I try to open the application, nothing happens. It seems like it's attempting to launch, but it doesn’t fully open, I am stuck on a black screen. Before this issue started, it repeatedly prompted me to log in—despite already being logged into Facebook. I’ve tried restarting my PC, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and checking for updates. I also installed the version from the Link store, which launched successfully, but it didn’t log me into my account nor did it prompt me to. I’ve searched through the forums and tried the suggested solutions, including making sure my drivers are fully updated, but the problem still persists. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.🤙 Thank you.

Still broken as of today.Funny thing, opening the quest link version now tells me to go download the standalone version.. which doesnt work 😄

For the black screen issue, please try downloading the latest VC++ - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 . It is likely not installed on your fresh PC install.The Triangle error is related to scripts in your world that are attempting to swap textures too quickly. When this happens, you may experience a rate limit on your account. Please take a look at the scripts in the worlds you were editing just before experiencing the error and check the frequency of any texture swaps. Once removed, your textures will begin loading normally again in roughly 24 hours.

I'm having the exact same problem right now, If I find a fix I will update. for now the workaround is to install the Meta Quest Link software and run Worlds desktop editor from there...

Could have been bad timing? There was an update coming out. Mine looked this this morning after freezing on a black screen for a few mins.

    This is the standalone version. After updating it did launch.

    No, it just randomly started working, can't even tell you what triggered it to get it back running.

What happens if we try to reinstall vc++?

I know when I reinstalled Windows, mine acted like this and I was just missing vc++, but admittedly it doesn't make sense if it work previously, but won't hurt nothing and worth a try.

Everything was working fine when I first got this PC on May 28. However, when I tried to open it today, I encountered a black screen with the message "Worlds Desktop Editor (Not Responding)." I initially ran the program through Link, but after uninstalling it, I installed the software directly—only to get the same result!
I need a fix quickly Meta! Please!

  Sometimes a black screen indicates an issue with the VC++ Redistributable. Try re-installing the latest version of it.

Same issue as of today (not used it for the last 2-3 days).. black screen, high cpu. nothing more...
tried vc++. reinstalling, clearing install folder.

Yeah, ended up downloading The Meta Link version and it's been working fine. I uninstalled the none working editor. I don't know what that black screen was about, maybe in the future we can give it another go . Thanks for you guys help.
