Hi there! Looks like you're in the right place! This is an fact a game design competition—no build required. Your submission will be a complete pre-production package: a game design document (GDD), a player journey map, a visual concept package, and a production plan. Together, these four artifacts should tell one coherent story about a game that's ready to be built. See Design Guidance for templates and instructions on how to submit. Good luck!

My concept is somewhat unique in terms of gaming genre and does not fit into the genres that you have mentioned, although simulation may be the closest fit but then again you are not growing or farming anything.

I have dubbed this genre as Emotial AI gaming, to best describe this new genre of gaming I created two game titles - the first is "My Life as a Piece of Furniture" the second "Mannequin Life"

I have produced a promotional video for My Life as a Piece of Furniture and further detail can be found on my website.

I am providing this to you to see if it is worth me spending the time to produce what you are asking for to submit to the competition,at this stage I am not sure that it would fit within the parameters of the competition.

As a vision i believe this could represent a whole new genre of gaming that could grow into something viral over time, with an untapped potential and with support of players through the use of social media, streaming platforms like twitch, the gameplay lends itself to be promoted.

if you search Nortyboy games on google you will find my website and the promotional video

  • Hi everyone,

My team and I are very interested in participating in this competition.

I attempted to join the MHCP multiple times on June 1st and met all the listed requirements, but unfortunately I consistently encountered an error page during the enrollment process. Interestingly, another member of my team was able to join successfully today, while I still seem unable to enroll.

We're wondering if there might be any alternative path or exception that would allow us to participate.

What excites us most about this competition is its focus on game design. We come from a game development background and already have a concept that we're eager to explore further through the design documents and planning process outlined in the challenge. The opportunity to think deeply about player experience, systems, progression, and production planning is exactly the kind of work we enjoy.

Beyond the competition itself, we're genuinely interested in learning more about the Meta Horizon ecosystem and understanding how creators can contribute to its future. We believe our team's experience in game development could allow us to bring valuable ideas and perspectives to the community.

We completely understand if the requirements cannot be changed, but we wanted to reach out because this is an opportunity we're truly excited about and would love to be part of.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hello there! Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in Meta Horizon.

MHCP is always open for general enrollment. For this competition, the rules state that you must be an MHCP member by June 1, 2026 in order to participate.

Please share more details about the error you encountered when you attempted to enroll, including the steps you took, when you received the error, and what the error message said, and we'll look into it and get back to you. Thanks!

        Hi Ben,

Thank you for getting back to me.

I actually received a response through another support channel regarding the enrollment issue. I was informed that Argentina is not currently supported for general MHCP enrollment, which is why I was unable to join the program.

However, I wanted to mention that Argentina is listed as an eligible jurisdiction in the competition rules (under the selected creator regions). Because of that, I genuinely believed I was eligible to enroll and spent quite a bit of time trying to join on June 1st, only to repeatedly receive the following message:

"Unfortunately, you don't currently meet the minimum eligibility to join the Meta Horizon Creator Program. In order to join the program you must be 18+, reside in a supported country, and have a Meta account in good standing."

I meet those requirements: I am over 18, I live in Argentina, and my Meta account is in good standing. It might be worth reviewing the wording of the eligibility information, as it can be a bit confusing for creators from my region.

I also wanted to ask about a possible exception. One of my teammates from Spain was able to join the MHCP on June 6th, and he would be the official Team Representative and submitter for our project.

I understand that the competition rules specify MHCP membership by June 1st, but given that I was unable to enroll due to the situation above and that we have already begun developing our game design concept, would there be any possibility for our team to be considered as an exception?

We're genuinely excited about the competition and about contributing to the Meta Horizon ecosystem, and we would be incredibly grateful for any guidance or flexibility you might be able to offer.

Thank you again for your time.
