    Does the world need to be published to enter the competition? I just started working on this world, so it hasn't been published.

      From the rules section:

      "..To be eligible, the updated world submitted must meet the following conditions: 

      • The world was originally published by the Entrant on or before June 30, 2025."

      So according to those rules you still have a few days to publish your world, (since it's now June 21, 2025).

    Regarding this section in the design guidance: "Consider Progression that Unlocks Opportunities for Expression"...

    It suggests offering features/rewards that let players "personally or creatively express themselves." Wearable in-world purchases would go a long way towards that, right? Aren't some creators at an advantage in this competition because they can create wearable IWPs while others can't?

      Even if wearable IWPs aren’t available to all creators, what about free wearables — e.g., ones you earn by completing missions? Can any creator do something simple like reward the player with a hat, or is every type of wearable restricted to approved creators only?

        Per our guideline, use of Meta tools that have not been released to all of the Meta Horizon Creator Program (MHCP) members or the general public is not permitted.

    Could I participate along with a colleague who is not yet enrolled in the program and therefore has not yet posted worlds on Meta?

      Yes, as long as the main submitter is in MHCP.

      Be sure you are logged into your MHCP account using the login button on the upper right of the screen to view this documentation.

    Hello,

    For published worlds, can the name of the world be changed among other changes to enhance it?

      As long as your world is originally published before June 30th, it is allowed to make updates to your worlds as many times as you want, including the name.

        Following up on this to ask a silly question: What is a good way to determine all the tools are released to all creators vs what's not? i was under the impression that if it's available in the desktop editor, then it's released for everyone ( unless stated otherwise) since i didn't sign up for a special program that's extends beyond MHCP.  I would hate to get booted from the competition for using a shiny new tool
