Featured Halloween Worlds🧟
This October, Horizon will lean into the Halloween moment by featuring select content and experiences across the Store, Feed, avatar rewards, and Horizon entry points on Facebook and Instagram. Worlds that feature spooky themes and/or other in-world Halloween experiences will be considered for curation.
To submit your world, reply to this forum post and include 1) a link to your world (e.g., https://horizon.meta.com/world/9116337161745306/ format), and 2) a short description explaining how your world aligns with the Halloween theme (e.g., a new quest, a decorated lobby/social space, new attachables, etc.) so that we can quickly review the experience.
We will begin curating and featuring worlds during the second week of October. Selected worlds will be featured in a dedicated Halloween shelf (or shelves) through November 1.

FAQs
How are you defining “spooky” and “Halloween” themes? We’re taking an expansive view of this Halloween theme. Think about how you can introduce fun Halloween elements into your worlds in a way that feels native to your experience. Be creative! Do in-world quests give new, on-theme rewards? Does the lobby take on a spooky vibe? Can people dress up in fun new ways?
Will Halloween updates—specifically those that may feature blood and violence—have an impact on my world ratings? We recommend referencing our published community guidelines before publishing world updates. These guidelines can help you strike the right balance between participating in this seasonal event and ensuring that your content is appropriate for audiences.
Will my world be disadvantaged if I do not participate? Featured worlds may benefit from temporary inclusion in an additional discovery opportunity. Whether you are participating or not, we recommend referring to discovery best practices to ensure that you’re putting your best foot forward.
What else should I know? Be mindful that Halloween is a great opportunity to introduce (or reintroduce) your world to new audiences. Make it easy for people to quickly find fun—especially if they’re jumping in for seasonal content!
