  • OK. I’ll start.

What about Sound input? Please bring us up to date about why recording sounds has been botched and when it is going to be fixed. This is imperative for my entry.

I will leave the questions about simply bringing in short (not length) .wav files to create my instruments, for another time when this is addressed.

Thanks again and my 73 yr old DEI hire appreciates you. 🙂

  • I was able to register from the link that you provided here in this post, but the main pinned link takes me to Shard's Laser Pen Demo, which was yesterday.

  • BerryBerryNice I am just raising awareness in case anyone else tries to register from the main pinned link and is taken to the wrong session.

  • Question #2

The BOT statement you posted had some clarification required. See your thread, please.

  • For the feedback festival - it says that we submit this using the Devpost submission.  Is there a checkbox or ???  Can you give us some more detail?    https://mhcp-mobile-genre-competition.devpost.com/rules

    (5) FEEDBACK FESTIVAL DURING THE COMPETITION:

Creators can submit their work-in-progress world for feedback and Meta SMEs will be asked to playtest and offer feedback on those submitted worlds. This stage is optional for entrants, and not a requirement for submission at the end of the competition. Feedback from SMEs is not part of the judging process and will not be considered when winners are selected.

How can creators submit their worlds for the feedback festival?

    • The deadline for submissions is the day before the Feedback Festival starts, April 10th.

    • Creators will submit their world, or a slice of their world, via the devpost submission site with their intended submission category.

    • We will recommend to creators they clone their world (or a part of it) and publish and submit the clone so that they can continue to work on their world whilst Meta SMEs are playtesting and giving feedback.

    • The published clone can be marked as undiscoverable or Beta, but they must include a link to the world that is publicly accessible on their Devpost submission for feedback

Note: Creators who are comfortable sharing their unfinished worlds on the creator forum are totally welcome to do so for feedback from other creators

  • Can you tell us more about the community choice portion of voting?  It says the process is detailed below but there is no more...

    (6) WINNER SELECTION/NOTIFICATION:  Entries will be evaluated based on the Judging criteria listed below by a panel of experts on the Horizon team (“Judge(s)”) approximately during the Judging Period. Judges will select the top submissions per Genre to a total of 20 ranked as First, Second, Third, and Fourth place. The Judges also have discretion to award up to 7 additional discretionary Special Awards prizes based on the same criteria. Entries will also be voted on by their peers during the Community Choice Voting Period (process defined below) where the top 3 voted Entries will be selected (all referred to as “Winners” herein).  Potential Winners will be notified via email and/or the MHCP Discord between Judging Period and Winner Announcement.
