Can anyone help a new user on a metaquest 3s with an app called Exit One Immersive Escape room? I have downloaded it and I have purchased the add-ons. However when I open the immersive app, it does nothing but just sit there and play music. No prompts and nothing on the handhelds makes any difference. Place help? TyFawn64

Fawn64 I have a 3s and just tried it. It did glitch a bit and took quite a while to start. Have you tried waiting a bit longer to see if it starts up? Also I assume that your storage on the headset isn't too full up?

Thank you. I did let it try to load for about a forty five seconds.But I will let it go longer. I just got my metaquest like last week, so I was hoping there wasn't any updates that needed to be done already, but I will try this tool as well. Thank you for your help! 🙂

So, maybe the game is having trouble with the Quest 3s?🤔 I had no issues on Quest 3.

The game loaded quickly and smoothly on my Quest 3. No issues at all. The initial play space in that game is completely black except for the text that said, "look left", "look right", "look behind you", and the start screen itself. Fawn64 you may have been positioned outside of the play space, so all you saw was blackness plus you could still hear the elevator-style music. You can press and hold the 'Meta' button on the right controller to recenter yourself. But you might also need to go into headset Quick Settings and adjust the boundary. I had mine set to Stationary.

To access the free escape room, you have to solve a little puzzle first, in the main room after you get past the black screen you are stuck on. You have to access the two add-ons from the same main room in the free app. There's also a "restore purchases" button in the main room in case your add-ons go missing. If resetting your boundaries doesn't fix the black screen problem, you can also try: Settings>Storage> (find the game in the list) > select "clear app data". That's the usual fix for games that won't load.

There's no such game called "Exit One Immersive Escape". Maybe start by getting your facts right.

Fawn64 try if uninstall/reinstall of the game helps.

I just downloaded and installed it..... it works without issues for me, so maybe something went wrong with your download/install?

  Yes, I figured that, but if people can't be bothered getting simple basic details correct, then I can't be bothered either. Nine times out of ten they are probably spambots 🤖 or post-and-ghost help vampires🧛‍♂️, anyway.

  Yeah sorry it is Exit Code. And I did uninstall and reinstall the base Immersive game. Didnt help.

    Maybe try the Meta Quest update tool, sometimes it can fix such app issues.
    
    Or update your Quest, following the steps in the video

And no, i'm not a spam pop or a vampire thingy. I'm sixty one and just got the game to play at home. I like escape rooms and was having difficulty and reached out. Sorry to bother
