Welcome to the community forums thank you for posting.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? (apologies for the basic question but just doublechecking)
I would also suggest submitting a bug report, you can view the steps on how to do so below:

In the meantime to refer an app to a friend you can click on said game in the store you want to refer to someone, next to the launch or purchase bar there are 3 stacked buttons.

Yeah...so that's missing as well. I just have share and flag this app. The share is just a link to the game in the store. There is no app referrals! It's almost like Meta have removed it as a feature.

Are you able to share a screenshot of what you are seeing on the app and the headset when trying to find the referral options? This will help a lot 🙂

Thanks for the reply. As you can see there is no option under referrals within the referrals app settings on my phone. Just referrals for headset which incidentally a friend just bought a 3s yesterday using my referral link and that doesn't seem to work either! Also you can see Pistol Whip on the store on my phone has no option for app referral and walkabout mini golf from within the headset also has no app referral optipn. It's the same for all apps that I own. I can share a link to the app in the store, purchase it as gift or flag an issue but there is no app referral option. It's completely removed. 😞

Hi,
That would be great if you could get a solution. I sent a private chat to Meta support as requested above and they said it's part of the T&Cs that it's not available to everyone so tough.

Would you be able to provide the full version numbers for the app, software and runtime versions please?
As there are multiple versions of v69 and 287.3 it helps give the engineers more accurate and actionable information.
For example, a full app version number would look like this: 287.3.0.30.109
A full headset version number would look like: 71.0.0.278.522.650679316
A full runtime version would look like: 71.0.0.249.522.649644997
Yours will look different of course as you are on v69, these are just examples I had at hand.

Maybe it is also important to know that i have been missing the referrals since 08/24 and since then i have of course had different software versions on my Quest.

I've heard back from the engineers and they haven't identified any issues with app referrals 🛠
If you no longer have access to referrals then you wouldn't currently be eligible for referrals. If you'd like further information regarding referrals, please reach out to Meta Quest Support for help 🙂
Wish I could provide better news for you guys but I hope that helps explain things.

No. Why dont you tell everyone on this thread what the exact criteria are to be eligible for app referrals. Nevermind the smiley emojis. Lets have the exact eligibility criteria for app referrals posted here.

Well then what do I need to become eligible? No matter how many smiley face emojis you put its still absolutely unacceptable to tell customers that they are excluded from something we all spent 500$ on and not tell us what we require to be included. Honestly wish I bought an index.

How is this acceptable?
I have the same issue as all the other users. I have no option to send referral links to my friends.So basically a bunch of people are experiencing the same bug and you are telling us, that you did not find anything and therefore it's our problem?

Its not acceptable at all. Its an absolute joke to exclude certain accounts from app referrals. We've spent well over 2000 euro on headsets and games and my son is excluded. We got the same guff response. Basically you're just excluded because thats how it is. No reason given. Whatever the criteria for exclusion is it must be something that would make Meta look bad. A very poor way to treat customers.
