Arizona Sunshine 2 low memory error.

Me and my mother have recently finished Arizona Sunshine 1 remake and we had a great time playing it together, now we started on Arizona Sunshine 2 and we both have the same error, the game closes with a pop up saying ''Low Memory'', we have to restart our Quest 3 headsets efter each level we complete in order to play the next.

I have searched the internet and found posts about this from 6 month to over a year a go and I have seen that the same error occurs with other games such as Batman Arkham VR.
So I am not sure weather it's the game or the Quest 3, or if I should open a ticket to Meta about it.
It feels really awful as a new VR user to buy a game at full price times two just to find out that it doesn't work properly, especially for my mom who is completely new to gaming.

Is there anything that can be done in settings or something to make this annoying low memory error go away before we give up on the game and uninstall it.

Thank you.

Melluca  the issue can be caused by low video memory if the game is graphically intensive. Some users have found a workaround where the GPU settings are turned down in the headset. The battery saving option reduces CPU and GPU performance slightly but can help with the memory issue. GPU can also be dialed back using the Quest games Optimizer app.

It's not just this game, unfortunately. Same issue with Madison. My friend was playing it fine for quite a while but after a Meta update the low memory started to appear making the game virtually unplayable. The advice from Meta is highly unlikely to work. They need to fix this problem. There are no issues with the games. You can try what they say but don't hold your breath.  It's not the solution.

I did talk with Meta Support privately as they requested about this and they don't want anything to do with this error and blames it fully on Vertigo Games, I have contacted them now instead through their submit a bug report website, though I am fully aware that it will probably lead no where.
I guess the real solution is, to check forums and post about a game you're interested in before making a purchase on the Meta Store, as it seems we can't rely on Meta to provide any kind of quality control of the products they sell on Meta Store.

Hello Melluca, thank you for posting on our forums.

We understand Arizona Sunshine 2 is not starting correctly on your Meta Quest 3. We know how fun it is battling hordes of zombies, so we are eager to assist you and your mother with getting to play it, since you enjoyed the first one so much.

First of all, we would suggest deleting and redownloading the game from the device, as this will replace any possibly corrupted components of the app. Secondly, please follow the handy link provided here to check your device for any updates. Additionally if no updates are showing, you can also force an update on your headset by clicking on the link here you just need to plug your Quest 3 into a PC and follow the steps provided.

If the game is still having the same errors after checking for an update, please try to reboot the headset. This is a little different from the regular restarts as it will clear anything running in the background of the headset. Please find the steps on how to do that below.

    1. Press and hold the power button for at least 30 seconds.
    2. Wait 30 seconds.
    3. If your headset doesn't automatically turn back on, press the power button until your headset has turned back on.

We hope these steps have worked and you are able to play with your mother once again. If you are still having issues however, please follow the step below to contact us privately. One of our advisors will be able to get some more information from you and give you more specific troubleshooting.

It is starting correctly. It crashes after each level is completed or after joining eachother in the game.
We both factory reset our Quest 3 headsets, updated it and redownloaded the game and the issue is still occurring for both of us.
