i'm not trying to be a picky **bleep** or anything, but like can we please shove those off of the store and let them move their way to itch io because everytime i'd wanted to explore the quest store it's always these gorilla fangames and they're actually starting to get on my nerves, that's the kind of reason why i switched to the steam store instead.
I partially agree.
There are a ton of Gorilla Tag games on the store, most of them being shut down or empty. Those games have been abandoned, and may never be updated.
However, the other games have people playing them, mostly because most people do not want to pay for the games that you have to buy to play. If they were deleted, there would be less games for most of the majority on Meta.
Also, many games are there because the developers want to have a game on Meta, but do not want to code a ton of stuff. In order to get a game, they get a template that is used by everyone, but they want to be different.
As of right now, there is no way to hide certain games from the store, so there may be a long period before something is done.
I haven't been seeing any GT games at all. Maybe because I ignored them the algorithm isn't showing them. However, a separate Gorilla tag area can be very useful for those who both want it and don't want it. You make a very good suggestion.
