Cannot Make Purchases. "Request cannot be completed until further actions"

 

Basically when i wanted to make a purchase, I couldn't, and this message kept popping up saying "Request Cannot be Completed until Further Actions." Probably because I entered my pin incorrectly like once or twice. But Now i can't buy games on my account. Is there any issue to resolve this?

      Meta customer support has done nothing for me. Useless $500 paperweight sitting in my living room

      This is not working. Nobody has ever contacted me. Now the games all have 30% and I have a list of games to buy. My subscription was cancelled too because I can’t make a purchase. I was wondering whether those games sellers know about the issue. It will be a big loss for them. I’m sure maybe only 0.1% people with this kind of issue will report here. Sigh. What should we do now?

      there is no chat option it just shows me articles on how to fix problems that i DONT have  MetaStoreHelp is there a way to speak to an actual human being?

    I'm having this issue, too. Was support able to fix it? Or give you a work around? I was able to purchase games yesterday just fine, and I even purchased games earlier today. But now, all of the sudden, I get that same error message. I've contacted support and they just escalated my case with no time window on when they will contact me again. I literally just bought my Oculus yesterday, this is a pain, I just want to give them my money lol.

      I've been waiting 2 weeks for a response. They escalated it and never heard anything back. I won't play anything till this is fixed as all my game subscriptions have now cancled

    I purchased my Meta quest 3 on Thursday and by Friday when trying to purchase more apps etc I get this message after approving in banking app.

    I've had 3 online chats and all I get is we will pass this to a special team and they will get back to you.

    This is really poor customer service, considering how much we spend

      I was able to buy on the first day of ownership but I now have the same error message. Customer support has been incompetent. Thinking of returning and getting a PSVR2.

      Same this is the most annoying thing that’s happened to me. I can’t even buy anything I even refunded a game I did play for quest cash guess what. Still doesn’t work. I contacted meta no response this is just annoying

    Having exact same issue. Used the Quest 3 less than 2 hours and got this message on Sunday. We are now going on Wednesday, 3 days since I opened a ticket. I am forced to check in everyday since not ONE email was sent in regards to the status update, even though I am being promised they will. This "specialist team" that apparently no-one works at that is supposed to reach out with 24 hours, is absolutely unresponsive. I sure hope whoever is planning on buying a Quest 3 sees these messages to see what they are getting themselves into. Next is documenting my experience on Twitter and tagging the entire Meta company.

    Same problem here. Been waiting for almost a week now for them to fix it. It got moved up to “specialist team” and I got an email but now they don’t reply to my replies or anything so I have no idea if they even started or what. I’ve been trying to make a purchase every day and night since I made the ticket (about a week ago). No changes. Im about ready to just sell my oculus tbh and just stick with my Xbox and PlayStation cuz this is pathetic. I’ve tried changing cards, using paypal, gift cards ect ect all w no change. Seems like it was a waste of money atp.

      Yup same here. Only thing I can think of maybe start a separate account, purchase on there and "gift" the game to the other account. I'm jealous you got a response form the "specialist team", didn't get that far yet XD.

        Only problem w that is i have like 75$ in gift cards I put on this account that I planned on using to buy what I wanted since my cards and PayPal wasn’t working lmao. I thought about it tho ngl just worried that’s not gonna work neither and then I’ll have double the problems lmao

    I have had the same issue for a week now. Meta will take your info and tell you that they are escalating the issue but it’s all just lies. They couldn’t even tell me why this was happening when I asked. I have yet to see one person say that they had this issue fixed. The fact that they can’t even fix it when you’re chatting with them is ridiculous. It’s 2024 and the third generation of this product! How is this company getting away with this? I spend $500 dollars on a meta quest 3 two weeks ago and now can’t even use it to play the games I want! For anyone seeing this that is considering buying anything from meta DONT!!! If you do, you too will be stuck with no answers or help. I have a $70 dollar store credit on my account that has basically been stolen from me because I can’t spend it now after buying the gift cards. A class action lawsuit needs to be started asap! Meta DO NOT ask me to PM you. You have already wasted my time and money!! Look me up I have an open ticket already and the answers you have given make me sick!!

      I agree 100% with this. It's been 2 weeks for me and no reply what's so ever. I quit playing the **bleep** thing. It's terrible. Can't buy a game or nothing so it's a $500 paperweight at this point.

        They know exactly what’s going on but won’t tell you. I have begun to screen shot every thread that has to do with is issue. I’ll be contacting the BBB and attorneys to see if there’s anything we can do. It’s not right!

      Not fixed yet no. Hopefully by tomorrow night I’m hoping otherwise gotta wait another weekend and wait all next week day by day for it to be fixed all over again. Idk why it takes so long tbh especially if it’s just a payment problem and it’s clear it happens often enough that they should know what the problem is and how to fix it. Idk tho just crossing my fingers now atp hoping for a fix before what I want disappears in a few days

      Since my ticket has been open Sunday, with I think 3 escalations now....no response 😞
