Cannot make purchases

When I attempt to make game purchases, o receive this message:

request not completed- we noticed something unusual, and for your security, this request couldn’t be completed. Please try again later or visit our help center 

The Help Center has a message saying “this page isn’t available right now”

Rebooting the device and deleting and re-entering my payment info didn’t work. I reported an issue within the meta app but have not heard back. Please help me fix this!

    You won't get a reply to a bug report.... it's just to let Meta know something is wrong.

        I just put in a ticket and I have the Meta payments team looking into my issue. 

  • I am dealing with the same thing and added a different payment method and I sent them a message. 

  • Has support helped anyone fix this yet? Myself plus two friends have been having the same problem for several weeks and support keeps telling us they are working on it... Nada - We've done all the things they've suggested and still can't make purchases via the app, the headsets, or online... super annoyed.

      It's a difficult problem that is affecting some users. Just check to be sure that the source of the problem isn't your bank or payments provider. It's not usually them but it can happen and if that's the case Meta can't do anything. I had the same issue not long after getting my headset and it turned out to be my own fault. 😁 I had switched off international payment provisions on my banking app and forgot that I did! As soon as I changed the settings my payment worked. The problem here isn't a general one. Each person's payment failure can all have different reasons for it. However, support should be doing more to get this fixed. If it's not a Meta issue, they should be telling you. If it is, they should be fixing it faster. I know it's very frustrating. It was driving me crazy, though a bit embarrassing to realize it was my fault!  As a possible option, you could try using a different credit card, or even set up a virtual card for yourself and try it. I hope you get it solved soon and Meta will respond also. Good luck!

        Thank you for the advice but nothing is working. I have changed cards, set up paypal even as have my friends and none of it has worked. Received an email from support saying they had made some changes to my account and to try to purchase again in 24 hours, - still unable to do so and receiving same error msg. It is just crazy that they aren't doing anything about this.
