Can't install "Mixed Reality Link (Preview)" from Microsoft Store: "Get" button greyed out

I know this issue is on the Microsoft side, but it also pertains to people in these forums.

Today I tried to install the "Mixed Reality Link (Preview)" app from the Microsoft Store (aka.ms/MRLink, or here for details in a browser). Even though my PC meets the system requirements, the "Get" button is greyed out.

It seems that more people are having the same issue when trying to install the app.

On my first try, I had Bluetooth disabled, and the page said my PC didn't meet the requirements. I enabled Bluetooth and restarted Microsoft Store, and even though later it said it meets the requirements (as per the screenshot above), the "Get" button is still greyed out.

I already visited the following pages, but could not find any information that could help me solve this issue:

Is the Windows app currently georestricted? Is this a temporary issue? Could you give any tips to figure out why it won't let me install it?

Thanks!

  • Man, I'm in Brazil, and was with the same problem. I've changed my windows location configurations, and changed the country to United States. This made the windows store reboot and the button to download Mixed Reality Link (Preview) became blue.

same here, cross our fingers that it will be release completely globally🀞

  • Yeah, seems geolocked to usa and canada at the moment.

Not that I could test, I don't have Windows 11 (and can't, since my threadripper CPU isn't supported).
