Can't play Roblox on Quest 2 because of age but my son is 10 years old

Hi!

My son is 10 years old and can't play Roblox on Meta Quest 2, VR. Although the new age restriction is 10 years.

When I type in the code from Quest 2 in the Roblox PC version or Roblox tablet app it says in The Quest 2 that it can't go further "because of age restrictions."

Any ideas?

  • While the new Meta accounts do allow 10 year olds to use the headset, individual games can still have their own age restrictions. Roblox itself is marked as 13+.

  • I am having the same problem with my child logging in.  I have also given permission for my child to access Roblox within the Quest parental settings.

I will just create a new roblox account in my own name.

I'm 14 and it also won't let me and says the same thing, there are no restrictions for it set up but still won't work

  • Hey everyone! I'm hoping this was already resolved by now, but I wanted to check in and see if that was right.

If not though, the next best thing I recommend is reaching out to MetaStoreHelp through PMs. They should be able to get a more in-depth look through their end.

  • He can't go in (because) his account is not elegable to go into roblox vr. His roblox account has to be over 12 or 13 years old, and that's why he cannot get in. He will just have to wait.
