Which Meta store did you buy it from? You have to purchase the Crossbuy version from the PCVR store (select Store from within the Meta Horizon Link PC app), not from the Quest store. The one in the Quest Store is not Crossbuy. Alternatively, navigate to the Quest Store website, and there is a little drop-down box where you can choose between Quest and PCVR (you need to select PCVR):
Contact MetaStoreHelp they might be able to exchange the game for you, but I think the Crossbuy version is not on sale, so you will have to pay more.
steve_40 actually, it shouldn't matter from which store you buy a cross-buy game - that's why you always should look on which store is it on discount before buying 😉 - it should, and did for me, work in both directions.
Another user posted about that issue recently.
MaxGabriel1219 contact support as steve_40 told you and maybe also send a bug report either from the Quest or from the feedback section in the pc app

Choleni OK, good advice, but if I select the game on the Meta Store PCVR webpage, it defaults back to the Quest Store version. If I select it from the Store tab within the Link PC app, it shows the PCVR version. Only the PCVR version lists Rift as a supported device 🤷♂️. Neither page says anything about cross-buy.

It seems redeeming the PC VR versions of cross-buy titles is broken for titles on sale.
As of this writing, Vader Immortal doesn't seem to be on sale, so you could try again. I could redeem two PC VR titles when their sales ended.

I couldn't redeem mine, even after the sale had ended.
