Disabling gaze cursor w/ Quest Link

After establishing a quest link with my pc and launching a non-vr steam game, the vr gaze cursor keeps overriding my Xbox controller (connected to pc) converting back to keyboard inputs. It makes the game literally unplayable.

This was one of the biggest reasons I wanted the headset in the first place. Is there a way to disable it or some other method I can use to enjoy non-vr steam games using the Quest3? Thank you!

    Unfortunately the desktop software explicitly looks for xbox controllers, so it will take priority. This is because the very first consumer Oculus headset (Rift CV1) came with an xbox controller, as this was before it had touch controllers.

    There's no way to disable it. But it's only xbox controllers that are picked up. If you use something else like a play station controller then you won't have the issue.
